Boobs....

I was a solid D cup before the baby, and now I'm growing out of my DDD's! I'm up over 2 full cup sizes already, and it's getting annoying having to constantly try to find new bras.

Do any of you have some good recommendations for a cheap but supportive bra in larger sizes (bigger than DDD)? Nursing bras are expensive, and I'm not planning on breastfeeding.

I was a DD before gettong pregnant and am afraid to get measured now. I have been using sports bras instead of regular bras. Also those tank tops with the bra built in. I need to go buy a couple of nursing bras, but will wait until after birth.

I don't even fit in my sports bras anymore. I just get the uniboob and spill out over the top.

I found some really comfy ones at target. Really roomy.

Wellllllll you're in luck!! Haha before i lost weight i was an H!! I went down to a DDD/F before getting preggo and since I've been cupcaking like a mad woman!!!!!! Lane Bryant has THE BEST bras for sizes F, G, and H...the only thing is they can get pricey but they do have good sales and if you google lane Bryant promo codes you can usually find at least one that works! And you can find some that are not grandmaish! I have one that's a multiway and its so supportive i wear it without straps even if I'm just wearing a tshirt! And i ordered a low impact sports bra from there as well it kind of criss crosses in the front and keeps you from getting the uniboob! And its pretty supportive. I wear it to sleep in and to workout on my elliptical in doubled with a tank with a built in bra and its enough. Its also perfect for breastfeeding bc you can open the front easily. If you have any questions or need help with finding a promo code just message me!

i wouldnt invest in too many bras right now because the midwife told me your bood could end up going up another size or two once your milk comes in. I have just been buying 2xl sports bras for now. I do have 2 nursing bras that will hopefully work for the first couple of weeks after the baby gets here

I'll have to revisit Lane Bryant. I have one bra from them, but the straps are way too wide on me, and they fall off constantly. I'll check again and see if they have a different style that would work.

I have a small bandsize with a large cupsize (28J right now), so it has not been easy for me. I just bought:
    https://www.breakoutbras.com/product/Shaparee-Pull-Over-Nursing-Bra/Nursing-Bras
to act as a transition bra between now (37 weeks) and when I can get fit for nursing bras. I ordered the wrong size (too small), but it is so comfortable. I prefer underwires for support, but this bra is treating me very well.

I'm not sure what bandsize you need, but if it is smaller then what is available as Lane Bryant there are still plenty of options. Hotmilk, Freya, Panache, Bravado, Anita, Royce.
  • I learned my lesson even trying to buy a cheap bra for a normal C/D cup. $5 wal--mart bra's are so horridly uncomfortable that I would rather wear my old ill-fitting B's. Literally TERRIBLE. Itchy, bad fitting and gross fabric that makes you sweaty.

I will be investing in a decent one next size!

I'm 37" around the underbust, so I wear a 38 bra on the tightest setting. I can also wear a 36 on the widest setting. I'll check out those brands. Much thanks!

That's why i haven't gotten another one yet! I don't want to spend that kind of money on a bra I'll only wear for a little while....so I'm dealing with the annoying cupcaking lol

haha yep same here. But since i kinda feel like a beached whale right now, having my boobs not fit in my bra is not even a concern. im kinda at the stage where i dont care what i look like. lol

I am having the same exact issue as you! I went from a 34D to a 38DDD (and I've still got 2 months to go...although I've been in this 38DDD for the past 3 months so hopefully they won't get any bigger before I have to buy nursing bras). Anyway, since I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a bra that was unlikely to fit me for a very long time, I went to Macy's. I bought 3 of this model from Lilyette (linked below). I love love love them, and, actually, get complimented on the zebra-striped one all the time at the gym. Looks like they're on sale now for $25.

I laughed when I saw this post because I just got out of the shower and was thinking MAN MY BOOBS ARE HUGE...then again for me huge means i'm falling out of my 36Bs lol I will definitely be buying some new bras soon. I guess I won't get too many since I will probably get bigger. Hmmm....I might end up a D? That's crazy?!?! lol

You all are making me jealous.... when I got pregnant I barely fit into 36A bras and now I can fill them much better, but haven't gotten big enough to require a bigger cup size *sigh* :ohwell:

Tell me about it. I'll donate mine too. I'm the only who got stuck w huge boobs from all my 5 sisters. I always got teased about it. I'd love nothing more then to go back to my C's that i was in high school. I wish for small boobies and have considered boob reduction but will wait till I have one more baby to start doing more research.. lol

I was a 36C, had to go up to 38D around 20 weeks or so and bought 2 bras to last. Now those are uncomfortable, but I'm trying not to buy anymore incase they are bigger! I wear a large sports bra, so I bought 2 XL for after baby...I figured I'm not going to care how I look, and I also have 3 nursing camis that were given to me. I'm sorry, I'm with a lot of the ladies, I'm glad mine haven't gotten too big yet!! Even though they've grown, they don't look much bigger when compared to my belly!

I told my husband I'd love to consider a breast lift once I'm done having children and am at my goal weight.

I've never been smaller than a D since middle school.

Same! But on the contrary, i love my boobs lol i don't love them when they're monsterous (like now) but when i was down almost to my goal weight (they were DDD) i loved them! I definitely want a lift though, mine aren't saggy but I'm envious of those with smaller or fake boobs that are so perky! I want that! Lol
