Hey all. I'm a noobie, just wanting to introduce myself. Ever since going into grad school and no longer riding, I'm starting to gain weight!!!! I miss riding!!!!!!! My parents still have horses in my hometown but only get to ride once or twice a year when I visit :( Hopefully, I can get some of my horsey fix by being apart of your group :)

:) welcome to the group. I know exactly what you're going through not having horses all of a sudden, I went through the same through late highschool/uni

"Gave up" my horses when I first moved out of parents house. Bad move. I need my horses. Now I commute 120+ mile round trip a day to work just so I can live where I can have my little herd of 9.

I'm still not down enough weight to start riding again but I live vicariously though my niece, who competes on two of my horses.

I didn't get to ride much when I was in college. I only rode once a week. I needed to get that equine fix, so I volunteered for a therapeutic riding center. The best choice I ever made. Now I can get that equine fix whenever I want!

I'm going to get thin enough to ride this:

(This is my niece riding my low child/adult jumper)

Well, maybe not actually jump her... I've gotten to be a chicken too. I might have to stick with cross rails!
