My mother-in-law is visiting for a few days, so tomorrow (Saturday) night she is going to babysit so that my wife and I can go out. I was at work today thinking of what we should do on this rare date night (dinner? movie? go out with friends?) and I suddenly remembered a very fun night we had three years ago when we went to an Indigo Girls concert with some (lesbian, of course) friends of ours. I looked up their tour information, and lo and behold: they are performing tomorrow night in a town 20 minutes away! I called our friends to see if they'd like to join us, and they will!

This has got to be some weird lesbian moment -- I hadn't been thinking about the Indigo Girls, I haven't listened to any of their music in months, maybe years, and I also hadn't seen these particular friends in months.

But in any case, I think it'll be a fun evening.
