Thought I'd pop by and say hello as I am planning to start Stronglifts tomorrow! I'm kind of excited, but also a bit nervous. I joined a gym and I get quite stressed being in the free weights section with all the massive men.
I also wanted to say thank you very much to Tameko2 for the amazing summary - after reading and rereading I finally think I understand it all so thank you very much!
I think my main worry is that I won't be doing the moves correctly - even tho I've watched the videos and others on youtube, and I ask the people at the gym I still worry because it's all new to me.
Anyway... just wanted to say hello seeing as I'd joined the group, so hello!

It takes some getting used to. My first time lifting free weights I felt really awkward and weird. After a couple times over there I felt like I knew what I was doing pretty well. I really love lifting weights, I hope you do too!! Have fun and good luck!0

Hello! I've only been doing it a week so I'm a noob too
but it's seriously the most addictive thing ever!
I lift at home by myself so I'm super nervous about form etc - I just make sure that until each lift comes naturally - squats are there, the rest are taking a bit longer - I refresh myself before I do them and I do a little mental ticklist of everything about the form for each one. Have a great time!0 -
