Happy Friday All! Well, we are one month into our challenge. It looks like we've already seen a number of original participants drop - and that's ok. This is really just a place you can use to help hold yourself accountable during the holidays! I hope at least some of you will hang in there with me!!

Sorry that I wasn't able to get this week's check-in topic up until this morning, but here we go!!!

Well, I seem to be back on track with my weight-loss. Still struggling with certain challenge goals, but working on them! I'm down almost 2 lbs since we started the challenge and I'm very happy about that! My annual appointment with my primary Dr. Is in mid-November and I'm shooting to hit a major loss milestone before that visit. Wish me well!

Challenge Goals:
* Lose 10 lbs - Update: Almost to 2 lbs!!
* Eat 2-3 servicing of produce each day - Update: not there yet, but working on it.
* Gym (or home workout - 2-3 times a week - Update: only getting to the gym once a week, but working out at home to get my 3 sessions in for week.

Weigh in:
9/27/12: 303.8 lbs.
10/4/12: 303.2 lbs (-.6)
10/11/12: 307.8 (+4.6 lbs - weigh in actually 10/16)
10/18/12: 304.0 (down 3.8)
10/25/12: 303.0 (down 1 lb)

    Hello to all and Happy Friday! Doing well with my goals, still off the soda ( I had a couple of drinks of a diet soda yesterday and it gave me a stomach ache), I've been doing OK with adding fruits and vegetables but have a lot of room for improvement in this area. I have an injury from running so my exercise has suffered since I need to take more rest days than I normally take. My biggest problem this week is all the Halloween candy my son brought home. I am a sugar junkie so saying I won't eat it really doesn't work for me. I have to physically remove it from the house so I quit eating it.

    No change for me this week so I'm OK with that considering my diet is consisting of these wonderful caramel apples dripping with chocolate and pecans and mini snickers bars.

    Happy that I'm down another 1/2lb this week - was a little suprised by it actually - don't feel like I've been eating that well but I guess it's true - that it is more about how much you eat not what - that doesn't mean I don't need to cut down on my sugar but if I log the calories and stay with in my numbers it OK to eat some bad for me things now and then.

    Not doing so well with goal number one - but todays a new day and I'm going to try again. Doing better than I ever have with drinking water but still not as much as I should. Down 4lbs total since we started which isn't bad as far as I'm concerened.

    1) Be more consistant with my exercise, yoga & swimming
    2) Drink more water
    3) Lose 15lbs by December 31 so I can start the New Year smaller than I've ever been as an adult.
