So in a few days I'll hit my 1 year mark for logging onto MFP everyday. And I'm considering since things will be hectic w giving birth and then bringing baby home to not log on for a few days and start from scratch after baby is here... anyone else going to start fresh ?

there will defiantly be time to log on. At least w how things went last two deliveries. I had a few hours of boredom when the visitors didn't come. and it's not like u'll have company everyday when u get home... but w 3 kiddos am not sure how it will all go down. I think it'd be a new motivation to see how far I can get starting fresh.. but i dont' know. breaking the record of all the logging on is the hard part. lol0

I probably won't log at all for a week or two after baby arrives to be honest.0

I honestly haven't decided. On one hand I want to just see if I can manage it on my own, but I'm afraid if I stop logging for a while I will get out of the habit, which could be very bad for me. But I really like logging just to keep an eye on the macros, more so than calories. Also, while breast feeding, I think I should log to figure out about how much I need to lose and keep a good milk supply.0

I will probably not log for a few days after this baby is here. If I do, it'll be calorie guesstimates especially since people will be bringing us food lol0

I will very much be restarting! Will prob leave it a week or two is here, but I think the sooner I start logging the better, will prob start my weight loss plan 6 weeks after (gentle exercise) but last time I lost loads by just breastfeeding, so I can't wait to start logging those pounds lost again!!0

I definitely will not be logging while I am in the hospital I am going to use it as a rest and relaxation for what is to come when I get home. Once I am home I know I won't be able to stay off so I will start logging again.0

Just thought this might be beneficial information for someone..........I asked while I was in the hospital if there was a certain amount of calories that they give to the post partum/lactating mothers. I wasn't really expecting an answer but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask & was pleasantly surprised with an actual answer. I was told it could be up to 2000, so what I did (since I'm obsessed with logging & haven't missed a day since pregnancy/delivery) is I just logged all the days in the hospital as quick added 2000. Made things A LOT easier than trying to figure out & estimate the hospital food. So I just thought this might be helpful to those who plan on continuing to log with no breaks.0

Thanks for this idea!0 -
I'm just going to play it by ear and see how I feel. If I'm up for it, I'll continue logging. If not, I won't. I'm just going to focus first on birthing this kid and such.0

I plan to continue logging with no breaks. It will be very difficult for me to get back into logging mode if I quit for a few weeks. I most likely will have higher numbers, but I am scared not to log cause its so easy to fall out of pattern. I will just not worry about calories as much until I am ready to lose weight again, so probably for a few weeks if that makes sense.0

I will probably keep logging just to stay in the habit- I need to keep myself accountable or I know that I will have a hard time getting myself back on track. Luckily I have the app on my Iphone so that will make logging much easier!0

I have already quit logging but I plan to start again about 3 to 4 weeks after the delivery. That's when I started MFP last time and it worked really well for me. I'm not at all motivated to log while pregnant.0

Most definitely, however not sure when I will start. If I breastfeed (didn't go well with first child), I might not start right away. I was C-section the first time so depending on when I get the ok to exercise, I will definitely go hard core with the logging and workouts. I am hoping to have a VBAC and not have to wait the 8 weeks to start. :-)0

I am going to have a whole restart once baby is here. I never lost the weight I wanted before I got pregnant. I wasn't at my heaviest but I wasn't anywhere close to where I wanted to be. I don't log very well right now... so after baby I plan to log and get back on track!0
