Rice Dream - not entirely gluten free

I found this and several other links. Apparently, the pre-process for rice dream includes a barley that is tossed. If you can tolerate tiny amounts, you're probably safe - if you are truly and horrifyingly intolerant, this may be why you keep having issues.
I would look at an alternative if you seem to have issues. This may explain why I've never liked Rice Dream. I ended up drinking Blue Diamond Almond milk.

That's interesting. I didn't know that. I prefer the Blue Diamond Almond milk anyway, but I have bought the Rice Dream. Thanks for the tip.0

I was totally surprised to learn it. They say gluten free so I guess it depends on whether you have severe issues. They have some amount they are allowed to have in it (per rules....20 ppm or something) which is probably what they are following. But, I figure if you've had issues, removing it and testing to see if it's doing that may help.0
