How do I resist sweet temptations???

I am a cake decorator at a bakery, so I am constantly around cake, brownies, frosting, cookies, etc... How can I go to work everyday and not want to sneak snacks?? Its really difficult!

    Replace the behavior! Easier said then done, obviously, but keeping yourself busy will avoid the snacking. ALWAYS have water, seltzer or tea with you to avoid eating and make sure you have delicious & healthy meals to look forward to so you won't be tempted to spoil your appetite with sweets! If possible, you could allot yourself a littler bit of sweets in the day to limit your intake, but still let you have something! I'm better at just quitting it cold turkey though, still working on portion control!

    Maybe set up an award system. Don't snack throughout the week, and have a cupcake or brownie at the end of the week. BUT only have the reward if you didn't snack on the icing, batter, or finished baked goods during the week. Be true to yourself. If you are looking forwards to the cupcake (or whatever it is) on say, saturday, but on Wednesday you eat a spoon of batter followed by a spoon of icing. Then you don't get that cupcake on saturday.. Just a thought it may work. It may help to focus on the end of the week reward then snacking during the week.
