My hubby had a hat that his granny knitt him
The kids have lost it :noway:
it looks like a knitt 2 purl two pattern not just the ribbing but all the way up
any one have a tried and true pattern like this

Are you on ravelry? I'm sure you could find something there, in the mean time I'll take a look there and see what's available.

I have used that and love it for it's stretchability and fit. I'm at work so don't have a pattern with me, but if you try knittingpatterncentral.com they have ttttoooooonnnnsss of patterns. Also, try googling rib knit hat pattern. Good luck.0

i've knit a couple like this but i don't have a pattern i just wing it. I always start bottom up on a circular needle.
