    I was thinking the same thing! Some sore as hell Sunday bar hoping/sightseeing seems like a good plan to me though

    I'll be back in the city on Sunday... I am in for that!

    I'd be in for some sightseeing on Sunday if I can shack up with someone Saturday night. Not Friday though.

    The race on Sat seems to be sold out .. WAH!

    I booked a room Sat night , hoping they will open up some more heats and then I will register and drive up Sat morning.

    If not I will be there as a spectator to cheer all you bad *kitten* on !!! and quietly cry because I can't race with you :(

    My husband and I are flying in on Thursday the 30th, and out on Monday the 3rd. Does anyone want to share a room with us? I have a king room booked at the hotel in this thread, but can change to a queen-queen if anyone cares to save a few bux and shack up with us.

    A few of us will meet Des(Selenity) in NYC on the friday, I've never been and I want to take my camera out and get some pics!

    Yeah, Friday during the day will be NYC sightseeing for whoever wants to join. Friday night the lot of us are driving up to check in to the hotels.

    Wits, Peaches and I are booked til Sunday morning. I am assuming Saturday night will be some sort of shindig in that area...

    totally didnt realize this said during the day on friday - i requested off the friday before this race and the monday after - so there is a chance that I might be able to hang out during the day on friday (instead of out late - cause I wanna show up and destroy this race, not feel destroyed.)

    Whatever time our check in time is Friday, we are going to aim to be at the hotel around that time...so def keep us in mind for sightseeing in NYC :):):)

    I'm thinking of getting a hotel room in NYC thursday night and then go to the same hotel as you guys for Friday and Saturday! Need to figure out where to stay in NYC now!

    ew nevermind, check in is at about 2-3 usually. so youd only be in the city til about noon or so, right? yeah I wont be out of brooklyn yet LOL

    lol I'm confused.

    I'd like to be at the hotel for check in that afternoon and THEN go to the city for the evening (not til the wee hours of the night of course, but for some walking around and a bite to eat)

    I'll probably stay at my folks' in NJ for the weekend. It's about a 15 min drive to Tuxedo from there. Also, I'll most likely be driving down from Boston on Friday, so if any of y'all need a ride from here (I'm looking atchooo Ben and Will) lemme know!

    Haha, everyone is so confused

    Wits is sharing a room with millions0fpeaches and I.

    On her way down from NH, she will check into our room(check-in is at 3PM) and then drive down to the city where Peaches, Esclo, and I (and who ever wants to join, UV, ZC, Allie etc) will be sightseeing during the day. That evening we will all head up to Tuxedo.


    That is the NYC sight seeing plan as I am aware of it. Peaches, Esclo and I (and any additonal participants) will be sightseeing all day. Wits I assume will be meeting us later afternoon.

    Anyone is free to join us at any point during the day :)

    as for the tuxedo transport part, I will have my flight plan when the launch date is closer.

    I plan to get there as close to check-in as the long drive will allow. I love staying in hotels.

    We'll have to find a nearby place for dinner, if anyone's interested...
