Comfy shoes for swollen tired feet

Hi all,
I'm having some issues with my feet swelling really easily now, and I can only fit into two pairs of my shoes currently, and neither are really that comfortable.
Someone suggested picking up a pair of Crocs. I need something to wear everyday that are comfortable, supportive, and not too sweaty (I live in Miami, so no fuzzy boots).
Has anyone worn Crocs before? Do you like them? Which kind do you have?
Thanks!

I got a pair a few years ago that look something like this pair:

I do like them, but I don't find them to be particularly roomy (and I have narrow feet to begin with, so I'm not sure how great they would be for swelling issues.
I've been living in ballet flats and Uggs most of the time...but I know Uggs are probably not the most practical for Miami.
What about one of the dressier versions of FitFlop (for arch support)?

I have been wearing flip flops because it has been warmer, but yesterday was the last warm day. I have been just loosening up my other shoes. I also looked for a nice pair of slip on shoes, but had no success. I think since i only have a few days left I'm just going to wear my slippers!!!0

I have a pair of the horrendous-looking Croc clogs, which honestly haven't left my closet in a long time but are too dang comfortable to throw out. They really are good for gardening and stuff, but I can appreciate not wanting to wear them out and about.
Obviously you live somewhere where you can pull of flip-flops most of the year, too, but I can also appreciate that you might not want to wear those everywhere. They also don't have a whole lot of support.
I bought a pair of Naturalizer black leather mules when I was last pregnant. I wore them this past Wednesday because they are so comfy, and I had to giggle about how stretched out they were when my feet aren't all swollen! Even though they were stretched out, width-wise, they were still comfy. Not the most stylish things in the world, but they are extremely comfortable with no breaking-in period, and they work well for swollen feet and have good support. Plus they would generally be considered acceptable office wear.
I can't find anything similar on the Naturalizer site right now, but here is a link to a similar Naturalizer pair. (Mine are not quilted or shiny, just matte black, and there's a metal decorative buckle instead of a tassel.): http://www.6pm.com/naturalizer-gossip-black-quilted-shiny?zfcTest=mat:1
SO COMFY! They look fine with jeans, khakis, or work pants.0 -
I gotta tell you, I got a few pairs during my second pregnancy and would not have made it through without them. The crocs were breathable and comfortable. At that time, crocs didn't have all the cuter options they do now, but I didn't care one bit.0

I'm 27 weeks and a teacher. I've been living in nothing but crocs for most of this school year. I love them! I don't wear those awful looking clogs though; mine are all flats. I'm in Texas and they do make my feet sweat some, but nothing I can't deal with.0

Sorry I forgot to update, but I ended up getting some crocs in a wide size, and I love them. They aren't pretty, but they are sure are comfy!0

I also caved in and got some crocs ( actually my MIL got them for me) and dont regret it. They are ugly but honestly at this point i could care less what my shoes look like. I needed relief from tight shoes and having to bend over to put them on. Bending over is not an option now as my baby is so big that even though he has dropped he is still in my ribs all the time0

SLIPPERS!!!!!!!! Hahahaha I've been living in mine lately!!!!!! I'm not one to go to the store in pjs and slippers but have been doing just that! Pretty cliche I know, I really don't care as long as I'm comfortable! At least my hair is still done every day :bigsmile:0

Oh and I hate to admit this but I own crocs...we live in the country and when it rains it gets SUPER muddy! And if its warm out I can't wear my rainboots bc my feet sweat! So I'll wear my crocs..but hey, I'd rather look nerdy than ruin my other shoes!0

I think people will see that you are pregnant and give you a pass!0 -
I have mostly been wearing Uggs and ballet flats. Today (at just shy of 37 weeks), I put on a pair of Chuck Taylors (in other words, I was required to bend over and lace them), and IT WAS A WORKOUT. I swear I was grunting. My dog came into the room with a worried look on his face, like, "You ok, mama?" I may have to log it as exercise points next time I wear them. :-)0

There's no bending over/down for me...I'm with you on the grunting and its not fun! So slip on shoes it is!0 -

I remember having to switch to all slip-ons after 30 or 32 weeks because I would get super out of breath putting anything else on my feet. I was lucky if I shaved my legs! I am not looking forward to that part again, though it is pretty temporary.
Funny about Hermie, though. I bet he was worried, poor guy!0
