I'm headed out for three weeks of vacation in NYC, Galveston & New Orleans. Have you got any fun plans?

I'll be logging, but not blogging, so you all have a wonderful holiday, and don't eat anything I wouldn't eat!

Cheers,
Alice

    Have a wonderful time!!!

Nothing exciting for me - staying close to home but looking forward to have a house full of family on Christmas day.

I'll be complaining that my kitchen reno isn't done, so I can't move in and bake as I had planned.

But it's a first world problem.

Just quietly at home for Christmas and New Year. I may be going to see my daughter just after Christmas, as she has been lucky enough to get a gamekeeper's cottage on the Isle of Skye (off the west coast of Scotland) and it is only about 3 hours drive from me. Just depends how things go with the weather, as the drive does involve going over part of the Highlands which is notorious for snow.

Also, may be going to Bruges in Belgium for a short break in mid March with an old girl friend, who reaches 60 next year.

Haven't even THOUGHT about what else we will do next year - depends on all sorts of factors

We will be in Florida for a couple weeks, but home for Christmas. I have no idea what I will making or eating.

No big plans. Just relaxing time with family. That's the most important thing. I know there will be way too much food for our little bunch. No plans to travel anywhere.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas season!

Home with Boyfriend for Christmas and at our favorite resort for New Year. The resort will be my will power tester, because they have a big buffet for New Year's Eve.

Eat and drink plenty on New Years Eve. You are probably already not able to tolerate large quantities plus you will be DANCING later. All resorts have New Year calorie burning activities, like dancing. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about food and exercise until January 2nd. Plus, this year you won't have to make losing weight a new goal. You are already doing it!

Christmas with my sister and her grown family in south central Pennsylvania. That will be a challenge because, except for Christmas Day, they eat out EVERY evening. However, I AM looking forward to eating at Texas Roadhouse, and I do plan on having a margarita (or 2!).

New Years with my neice and her young family (2 kids, 10 and 6 yrs old) in the Boston area. That will be lots of fun and I'm really forward to it. And they eat pretty decent so as long as I watch my portion sizes I feel like I'll be okay.

Mostly, I plan to enjoy myself but just watch the portion sizes, and keep the snacking to a minumum.

Happy Holidays and Safe Traveling everyone!

Husband and I will be going to Vegas for New Years!! I am sooooooooo excited. We've never gone out of town for New Years before! And we made reservations at our favorite chefs Gordon Ramsey restaurant Steak! Eating healthy is completely out the window during that time and I am not going to feel guilty!!! LOL! :drinker:

I will spend the holidays traveling to see my twin granddaughters in Chicago, then my little one in Portland, OR. I can't wait!
