Am a little bored with lifting lifting lifting so have started boxing for half an hour after my back lifts day (barbell rows, pull ups and similar). Felt good this morning...the deloads feel so strange, especially the squats and deads...it is almost like lifting nothing, but I guess they work...so will keep at it...finished cycle 2 today...cycle 3, week 1 begins next week....bring it on!!!

nice. the boxing should bring up your conditioning fairly well.
I always changed things up on my deloads because, as you said, it feels like you aren't lifting much.
I'd throw in different assistance lifts, or work up a little heavier than reccommended. Or you could do a different lift altogether.
front squat instead of squat
rack pulls or good mornings instead of deads. or try a different stance on deads.
floor press or inclines/declines instead of bench
Don't take it too easy and feel like you aren't doing anything, but allow yourself to recover and be ready for the next cycle0 -
Nice suggestions, thanks!
Been working on my snatches still (ugh they are hard and take it out of me!) and will defo try the good mornings, keep forgetting to try this lift. Yep, sumo stance deads are also another lift I need to try this time around.0
