Check-in - December 6th

We are now into our last month of this challenge, and I'm glad to see at least a couple of folks are still hanging on. If you are like me, you are full on into the holiday season - shopping, decorating, baking and cleaning! And then there are the parties...oh, the parties! And for me, tack on that my birthday falls this month - it just adds on to the festivities!

I've lost hope of really hitting my 10lb loss goal - but I'm happy that I have not yet showed a gain over my starting weight for this challenge. I've sayed the same this week, and nexk week brings TOM - but I see a light at the end of the tunnel. They have finally diagnosed my reason for being so fatigued all the time - which honestly has taken a major bite out of my workout schedule. But I hope by the end of the month, I will see some improvement in that area and am feeling way better to get my butt going for 2013.

Upcoming this weekend - 2 birthday dinners, and a holiday/birthday party! But I'm not worried! I plan to enjoy myself, maybe even have a glass of wine or two - but I will be moderate, and not blow a week's worth of calories in one sitting. If I can get through this weekend - I can get through anything!

Happy December fun to all!

I'm feeling the pain of all the Holiday parties and December birthday celebrations as well but I'm down 8lbs since we started this challenge and I'm feeling good, moderation really is working well - I don't feel deprived or that I've over done it - made a few bad choices but I've countered them with good choices and some exercise.

Love that I'm back swimming - wish my schedule wasn't so crazy and I could get there more than once a week but I have yoga for my other workouts and that's easy to fit in.

Not sure I'm gonna make the 15lbs by 12/31 but even if I do it by 1/31/13 That still gives me a weightloss of 50lbs in a year and I'm more than OK with that. Drinking water is still my biggest challange but I try everyday to drink as much as I can and that's all I can do!

I hope everyone has a great week!

    Challenge Goals & Progress:
    1) Be more consistent with my exercise, yoga & swimming
    2) Drink more water
    3) Lose 15lbs by December 31 so I can start the New Year smaller than I've ever been as an adult.
