Hiya, I'm Mary. I had Gastric Bypass in two stages--first I had the sleeve in July of 2009, then the bypass in November of 2010. I've lost about 390 pounds. I'm looking for others that have had WLS to support and be supported.

I'm Kate, and I've lost just over 100 pounds in the last 2.5 years by counting calories and working out. Still about 25 pounds to go until my goal. Lately I've been struggling so I'm excited to be part of a new group!

Hi, I have been actively participating on MFP since March 2012. I have lost 117 pounds so far, and would like to lose about 35 more. No pictures of me. Too ashamed and embarassed to allow photos of myself. I am the lowest weight now that I have been in over 30 years. We had health assessment at work last week, and I am 3 pounds away from being just overweight. Seems I have shrunk in height too,(who knew? I used to be 5' 4" now I am 5' 2-1/2") otherwise I would be officially in the just overweight category. I have lost the weight through counting calories and portion control. I started walking for exercise in October, and did a 5K Turkey trot walk on Thanksgiving.
Congratulations to all of you on your hard work and courage getting to where you are today. We all know that it is not easy.

Hi! I'm Jade. I have lost 116 pounds or 53 kilos in Aussie talk. I did it by counting calories, eating clean, working out at the gym and I also traded my kangaroo in and started walking everywhere instead. You are all so amazing! Well done on achieving what you have.

I started my journey August 2012 , and have done all of this by simply watching my calorie intake ,changing my diet to healthy foods, drinking plenty of water, and exercising 6 times a week.
