Just have to say I feel horrible for not reporting my weight on this thread for a couple weeks now. I've been experimenting with my calories after hitting a plateau for about 3 months, so I've gained about 10 pounds back. Still trying to lose obviously, but have to get a happy median after no longer going with the crazy 1200 calories lol. And want to be able to adjust my body to longer term weight loss, and less short term.

So I haven't weighed myself on purpose for a couple weeks now, hoping ot get less dependent on the scale.

BUT I'm hoping to be at 169 (my goal is to see the 160s!) for Christmas.

Keep up the good work everyone!

So I have decided that I am actually going to skip this weigh in and the next one BUT I will most def weigh in for the FINAL Christmas Eve Weigh In! The reason is that I am trying to take a "break" from the scale! I tend to let it emotionally consume me and I get way to upset it I don't see a specific number! So from now on I want to focus more on how I feel about myself, measurements, and how my clothes are fitting! :) So next time I step on the scale will be Christmas Eve morning! I hope to see some good results! But if its not exactly what I was hoping for I will not be upset! I feel like a rock-star already

    Ultimate Goal Weight~ 128

    11/26: 147
12/3: 144.8 (-2.2) I have been tricking my body with calorie zigzag between 1400-1800 for the past couple weeks to break my weight loss plateau I had experienced. This week I have finally seen results on the scale. My sweet tooth is a constant battle.

12/10: 144.4 (MINOR DECREASE from last week)... but, this week's a new week! I haven't been exercising ; / so I really need to get going back on my routine.

    12/17:
    12/24:

Goal NSV: Develop faithfulness to a training program to prepare myself for my first 5K in February. Over the holidays it's going to be tempting to let other distractions keep me from exercise.

Challenge I want to focus on is PORTION CONTROL and resisting temptation for sugar overload these next weeks ahead. So I guess, Challenge #5 would be my challenge as well. I want to find creative ways to trick my sugar tooth with low calorie / no sugar alternatives to my favorite holiday (high calorie/high sugar) treats.

Good for you!!! I agree with you completely about how easy it is for the scale to "consume" a person... YOU are a ROCKSTAR! Just being on MFP and caring about helath improvements makes us all rockstars in my opinion :)

Blessings to you over the next couple weeks of helathy eating and fitness! Merry Christmas!!!
