Weigh-In Week 4, Dec 10-Dec 17

Hey Guys!

Let's go ahead and weigh-in for this week! Every Monday we'll do our official weigh-ins, just as before! Tomorrow I'll post our progress!

This week:

Let's get to know each other a little bit! Just describe yourself a little!
1. How you came to MFP
2. What do you do for fun?
3. What do you do for a living?
4. How do you plan to reach your V-Day Goal?

Lets challenge ourselves this week physically and get moving! Post how many times this last week you did some CARDIO!! How much cardio are you aspiring to do this week?

Looking forward to your answers!!

Welcome!

    --Week 2: 195lbs +1

    --Week 4: 193lbs 0

    [Goal Weight: 175]
    Progress: -1lbs
    Remaining until goal: 18lbs

I did weigh in at a high 192 and 15 ounces, so I didn't count it. I want those ounces to go down!!!

Let's get to know each other a little bit! Just describe yourself a little!
    1. My mother-in-law actually introduced me to this site! Now i use it more than she does haha!
    2. I love to play piano and sing whenever I can! I miss singing in choirs and such!
    3. I am a stay-at-home mom with two kids under the age of 2! Yikes!
    4. I really need to work out more. That's my biggest thing. I stay inside with the kids basically all day, and I need to take more walks or something!

I did a lot of yardwork this week. Raking, trimming, etc. all while using a baby carrier. I want to start walking this week. My mom is an adamant walker and she's coming to visit next week, so I want to be able to keep up with her!
  • oops I posed on the wrong thread! LOL

    Starting at 284lbs
Goal is 260 for Valentines day
  • I also don't read well as I didn't see the get to know you thing!!

    HAHA!!

Obviously my brain goes a mile a minute!
My fabulous sister in law is MommaMellyMac and she'll keep me in check I'm sure.
I LOVE to read and could do it for hours on end and not get bored or move an inch.
I really love my nephew and niece! They are the bestest!
I like to work out but I hate going to the gym. Once I'm there, I do just fine and feel great! (hear that Melly?! Tuesday and Thursday it's on!)

Ok, I love food. I drink lots of water and unsweet tea, but food is my downfall. I have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I had my gallbladder out in October. Did I mention I love food? Particularly carbs! HUGE DOWNFALL!

    This is from Mickster85

My starting weight is 287lbs. My ultimate goal is to get down to 160lbs!!! But realistically... Valentine's Day... I think getting down to 257lbs. is ideal.
I struggle with comfort foods... I enjoy eating almost anything fried and I LOVE bread and pasta! French Toast with Orange Marmalade is my weakness. -__- I'm always trying to make excuses for myself... and working at Applebees seriously doesn't help. But the worst part is we have a Weight Watcher's menu and a Under 550 Calories menu and I don't utilize either one. Recently, I was rejected by the guy I have a crush on... my lack of self confidence played a major part in the events that unfolded that night. </3 But I don't want to give up! Somewhere down the line after I lose some weight a gain some confidence... I'm going to try again on my own terms!!!!v!!!
I have dreams and goals that I want to make a reality, and death, diabetes or heart disease isn't apart of those plans!!! I want to further my professional career, be able to buy and wear sexier clothing, and be all in all healthier. #Determinatiin

  • Thanks, Mommamellymac for takin over this group!! No joke--without this accountability I would slack off for sure!

First things first--I'm down to 147.7~ lowest since I started MFP! That's a .7 loss since last weigh-in... (can i not count TOM week last week? bc if not, I went up to 151.2 last week and now I'm down to 147.7 lol) I started MFP in June--my awesome cousin, MommyRobin introduced me to the method. :) Seeing her success really got me motivated! I love to read for fun... but while I'm in school full time (to become an elementary teacher) and going to work full time and taking care of my family (husband + 3 kiddos), I don't get much fun time lol. Oh - and I love to dance ;) For a living, I work at Nissan until I get my teaching degree. I plan to bust out some serious cardio-- running faster, longer, and alternating the stairmaster when i hit a plateau--to hit my vday goal of 135... I think that's what I set my goal at... I forgot already lol. I think 135 is doable. That's 12.7 lbs to go!! :)

As for cardio this week, I won't have any technical cardio till exams are over tomorrow evening! Woo hoo for Winter Break!! :)

Been really busy and just saw this post. Sorry.

My name is Robin and I am a stay at home Mom of 4 boys. I've been happily married for 11 years. I found myfitnesspal just accidentally in a google search. I have been on this journey since Sept. 2011 and on MFP since October 2011. My highest weight was 225. I have lost 88 lbs. I have set my goal at 135. That was my original goal and I have been on a plateau since July.

I will be 135 or less by Valentine's Day!!!

    Hey Gang!

Thanks again to Mommamellymac for taking over the group while I try to keep my head screwed on striaght. Still okay if I participate?

I am the same weight. 175.2 lbs. BUT we got a treadmill yesterday and I am ready to kick it's tush, so hopefully we will get that number back down to where it should be. I can't believe that in April I was only 10 lbs away from my goal... and here I am 25 lbs away from it... I can't even figure out why... I didn't screw up or anything.

    But I'm not quitting!!
