Or does the music in this Truvia commercial sound an awful lot like the theme to the Walking Dead?

    Nope..it's not just you. I have TWD opening theme set as my ringtone and I compared them. TWD has a more ominous sound but the notes seem to be pretty much spot-on.

    Yes, there are similarities in the music. I think the advertisers are doing it on purpose to lure in The Walking Dead fans to their products. Also have you noticed that advertisers are using actors that LOOK like or remind us of famous actors?

    I'd say the zombie themed car commercials are looking to lure in WD fans, but I think these two were just coincidence. I don't remember when I first heard/saw the Truvia one, but the diamond one was showing during "The Chew" on ABC. :wink:
