Weight Goal Before BootCamp

hey guys im pretty new to this app on my iphone.
uhh my recruiter and chief told me last Tuesday to drop 3 lbs
i weighed 189 and im at 181 now im 5'10''
just wanted to drop to 175 and i will be satisfied.

whats the best diet to do? i leave for bootcamp on Jan 23rd so i still have some time

as of right now my diet consists of Plain Oatmeal in the morning, lunch tuna on a English muffin,
than 2 hours l make a protein shake Muscle Milk and work out try to do as much push-ups & sit-ups in 2 mins
and try beating the time on the mile and a half run. its run a mile and a half in less than 12:15 i can only get to like 1.40mile in that time, i used to be able to run 3 miles in 20mins but i started smoking 2 years back and its killing me now.

any specific diets you guys use that you see improvement and like?

    No diets. Just plain old watching calories and working out... Congrats though! What rate are you going in as?

    I'll take a look at your diary though and see if I can help out/offer any changes that'll help you drop those few pounds before you go!

    I wouldn't worry about it too much. You WILL lose weight in boot. My husband went in at max for his height at 185 and got out at 170. Personally I'd work on doing sit ups, running, push-ups mountain climbers and 8 counts.

    I might suggest you get a better protein shake! Muscle Milk is really bad...it is very processed and expensive for what it is! There are much better shakes for the money..its just a matter of finding one you like the taste of (that is my problem). My husband makes muscle milk lol he literally makes it at the factory (surprisingly Pepsi owns muscle milk...fact of the day) and he comes home smelling like chemicals. It is NASTY!

    Idk anything about muscle milk but I make protein shakes with target brand (market pantry) vinilla whey a cup of frozen berries and a cup of unsweetened almond milk. Lots of protein low on sugar and yummy! Some days ill mix it with a sugar free chai mix and its like having Starbucks lol.

    Thanks haha im going in as Operation Specialist, but filled out a DAR with my recruiter to switch to Master At Arms but who knows if i get it, i have 42 days before bootcamp

    yea i do them on a regular basis, hopefully ill get everything on my first try in boot

    yea well my Dad is huge gym rat and he gets all the protein shakes and supplements so I just grab it from him when hes not around lol!
