Can't believe we are almost half way through December and Christmas is in less than 2 weeks away - I'm really glad to have this a place to check in every week!
I'm a little worried about all the food related events I have coming up: a dinner for work, 4 parties, a dinner & concert night with friends. In addation all the other holiady to do's: baking for gifts & to bring to parties, finishing up shopping, rehearsals for a musical I'm part of in January , not to mention Christmas Eve and Day with family & food. I'm sticking with moderation as my key tool, cut out the little things I don't care about or can have anytime, smaller portions and lighter cocktails (when available) but I'm still going to enoy all the goodies I can!

This week was a good one for me and I'm hoping to continue the trend even with everything I have coming up. I lost 2 lbs - not sure how it happened, when I went to the scale I was praying to see the same number as last week but thinking I might have gained.
I think sticking to my workout goals has been a big help, and now that I'm only 5lbs away Ifrom my weightloss mini goal, I feel like I've got a good shot ar starting 2013, 50lbs lighter & as the smallest I've ever been!

Goals
1) Be more consistent with my exercise, yoga & swimming (minimum 3 times a week)
2) Drink more water
3) Lose 15lbs by December 31 so I can start the New Year smaller than I've ever been as an adult.

I've been sticking with my exercise in spite of an injury but my main struggle is still my diet. I continue to eat junk ( I had a king size bag of peanut m & m's today) and can't seem to wean myself off the sugar. I'll be on vacation next week and baking all my Christmas goodies so my main goal will be logging everyday to keep myself accountable for what I eat. Hopefully, I'll be so busy that I won't bother with overeating but I worry that if I am too busy, I won't keep up with my work outs. My goal for next week is to take my son to school and then head straight to the gym. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

You both are doing so great! I am holding off on weigh-in until TOM has passed. I figure I have well enough stresses on me at the moment that a false TOM wiegh-in doesn't need to add to it!

Back in a couple of days!

Well Ladies...TOM just ending, and while my water retention this month wasn't as bad as it has been - it's still there. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to use the diuretics for the next month, so I'm trying to work the flush with additional water. That's harder for me when the weather is cold - but I'm working at it. I am not counting the couple lb gain, unless it stays with me for another week! So my stats below are listed as no change.

I can hardly believe that Christmas Eve is in one week. So much left to do! I was feeling a little stressed about it last week but honestly, after the last couple of days, I've decided that life is to short to worry over such things. I am blessed to be able to spend the holiday with my husband's family, we will have a nice and healthy dinner - and with all of the cleaning and preparing, and running around, I will get some calorie burns in there too!

    Challenge Goals:
    * Lose 10 lbs - Update: Down 1.6 lbs for this challenge. Hovering, ughhhh!
