    AWESOME :explode:

Yup, we're most certainly outnumbered ... by about 100 to 1 ... and then lassies outnumber blokes by about 200 to 1 although I think the UK ratio is more like 50:1.

Just don't get me started on cups... and we're not talking bra-sizes here gents!

Dang: I presume it's a modification of the word Damn as in God (be) damned which to many God-fearing folks is the ultimate curse.

Cups: a cup is a standard volume measure and is equal to 8 fl.oz. (unless you use a metric cup, but we won't go there ) However, in the US, they appear to use cups to "weigh" dry goods which hardly lend themselves to accurate volumetric measure. I can understand a cup of flower/oats/rice etc, but not a cup of chicken/ground bee/vegetables etc.

Journey: this has come over from Reality-TV and you hear it on the telly here in the UK too where it's becoming dreadfully clichéd. When you decide to lose weight, get fit and/or improve your life, you do embark on a metaphorical journey. Again it's biblical, where it's often spoken of the path to this, the road to that. It's a bit less clinical than admitting to be following a plan or programme.

Journey is not from reality tv, it is a perfectly valid use of the word, Journey "A process or course likened to traveling; a passage: the journey of life." [http://www.thefreedictionary.com/journey]

As for cups, I have to agree. Any measure where the size and shape of what you are measuring can change the amount you get is just plain ridiculous. Even the difference between flour rice and oats. If air can get between each individual piece then the measurement will not be consistent. GOD DANG IT!!
