Did not want to workout but did it anyway. Can't change if I make excuses so I made the excuses and worked out anyway.

P90X Back and Bicheps. KILLS your arms! RIP little arm muscles!

That's cute Mel. RIP little muscles!! I like that!

I haven't pressed "play" yet on Core 20 & Stretch 40. I'm procrastinating cuz I don't like working on my very weak core. I know I need to so that my core can be strong. It's just uncomfy to bring my legs in with all my belly fat in the way. I'll push through my excuses and get it done tonight before celebrating my mom's 75th bday dinner.

Hope you all have a great day today!

Hello ladies!!! I don't enjoy getting out of my nice warm bed on mornings when it's cold out and rainy. Nor do I feel like excerising. Once I get there *slaps plam with fist* I am loving every minute. :) Now who does that sound like? I feel like she is me up there on the tv because everything she says I am like thats me. However I am not coordnated or that talanted to come up with a program like Charlean did. :) Would be nice though. I have been pushing play. I have done fire45ez twice and today is stretch 40 core 20. I am 1/2 way through my week and then I only have four weeks left. I can't believe how far I have come already feel like I just started. LOL I agree with stel on the whole not enjoying burpees but I am proud to be able to do them, as in the begining I couldn't. Glad everyone is out there pushing play or moving. Something is ALWAYS better then nothing. :)

Hello ladies! Okay so you all know my dilemma..getting back on track after being sick. I tried my advanced DVD Fire 60 today....boy oh boy.....I got through 40 minutes! I loved the music, but I have to build my stamina back up. I have not been as serious about my weight loss as I should. So been taking some inventory and I have to get it together. Today I have been eating a more balanced diet and drinking my water, my motto is never give up....had some falls and I am sure I will have others....as we all will..but we keep pressing on! Thanks for letting me rant.

    Hi ladies!

Inspired by Lucy and tired of whining about the drama in my life and TOM, and refusing to give in after 3 weeks and a 6 pound loss, I'm going to get back in touch with why and how I started doing Turbo Fire and clean eating.

    1. I want my blood pressure to remain normal.
    2. I want to be, feel & look healthier.
    3. I want to feel sexy out and in my clothes.
    4. I want to finally do something good to and for ME.
    5. I want to finally LIVE with the passion and energy that comes from that fire in the belly that we all have.
    6. I want to see to fruition the future I've planned: a healthy body, a great business, a loving home with me, my hubby and future children all healthy and be able to keep up with all of it!

My mantra that kicked-started me in the right direction: Live the life. Feed the fire.

How 'bout you? What were your reasons that started your journey? What are mantras or sayings helped you push harder?

Hey Ck good for you! My mantra is NO EXCUSES! Also like You have to train like a beast to look like a beauty. I also know how I feel when I am skinny. I have only been over weight for 4 years. It started with my pregnancy with my last child. I could not move most of the pregnancy and gained about 30 lbs. I know that not a lot but it was all fat no muscle. I was very active up until then. I lifted weights and everything on up until It hurt to even walk. I had that pelvis separation thing going on and it sucked big time. I actually had to take 1 1/2 rounds of pain killers and have PT. it still bothers me when I do lunges but my pelvis is stronger so it only hurts sometimes. I am back to my activity level before I got pregnant. It took 4 years but I am back and ready to get back to the body I had. :) I guess this is my biggest motivator. I love being healthy and I remember what it feels like to stop.

My new mantra when I'm dining out is I'd rather eat my calories than drink my calories. Until I started logging in my food on MFP, I never realized how many calories were in 1 glass of red wine and 1 small martini or 1 large margarita. So not worth it for me anymore.

My exercise mantra is "Burn that fat into sexy" or "Sweat is Fat Crying". As my profile says, I'm bringing my sexy back one pound at a time.

Ha Lucy, I told you it would kick your butt! Nothing to do with stamina, really, I was doing all the workouts (I didn't miss any except 2 stretching ones) and when I put that one in Charlean says after about 20 mins about still breathing and I was like Uh No, huffing and puffing more like it! I really loved the music too. It just kicked my Butt!!!!. :)

I don't know about mantras I don't really have one yet I guess. I just know you have to work for what you get and it dosn't happen over night. You didn't put it on over night and it sure won't come off overnight! I have to keep telling myself this, as I lose weight very slowly and want to quit when I feel like I should be lighter or losing more inches. I am alot like Stel and Mel (lol oops Melzy) I want my sexy back, and to just feel over all better when I am skinnier. Fitting in my clothes that I have stashed would be nice too. :) I have a few fitness goals too. Like being able to do one full pull up, and a billizion or maybe 12 push ups on my feet. Well my bed is calling me and my brain is following suite, shutting down early tonight. G-night ladies, keep pushing play!!!

I finally got my workout in at 10:30 last night. I flew through Core 20 on a full stomach and without puking either. I pushed through Stretch 40...I still dislike the beginning part,s o repetitive and goes to fast for me to even feel a good enough stretch, but at least I was able to login for the day. It's 1:00am now and I really need to get to bed. Exercising late at night is going to throw off my whole schedule tomorrow. Good night all!

Good morning ladies! Quick quesion for you all: On Core 20, Chalean says you should be feeling the workout the next day. I'm not. Does that mean I'm doing the moves wrong?

When I do Sculpt 30, my shoulders are on fire and I'm feeling it for at least 2 days afterwards.

I know I have a lot of belly fat and my 6 pack muscles are screaming and clawing their way out (slowly). I wonder if she means that ppl with a 6 pack will feel that Core workout afterwards. SMH.

Taking my day of rest today. I had a lot of cooking and business today. Tomorrow is P90X again. I think Chest and back. Not remembering right now. lol Yall are doing good. =) Keep pushing play even in this busy season.

Pushed play today, I did fire 30 and stretch 10.
Stel, I really like stretch 40 compared to P90X or yoga X it's so long and you do the same moves for like 45 mins. I thought you did yoga X, so I am surprised alittle. :) Also I never got that sore doing core 20, so we are in the same boat. I guess it could be the acess fat but proably not. I do the advanced versions as much as I can to get sore. However, doing abs 10 is crazy sore!!! Ask Melzy. =)

Melzy enjoy your rest day and what good things are you cooking? I love to cook. :)

When I did P90X....I really really really DISLIKE Yoga X. I did it once and never again...I think I just skipped a workout on those Thursdays. I love love love Stretch X. When I was done, I felt like I just rec'd a massage.

Stretch 40...I'll take the last part, the sitting part, of course :happy.

Don't worry Stel, I do it too and I definitely feel it then, but not later. Maybe I need to push myself a bit harder, but I've done other ab work that makes me cry when I sneeze 24 hours after.

I enjoyed Yoga X, but I did it once on Saturday and couldn't walk without pain until Thursday! lol! Did NOT expect that. I LOVE the last part of Stretch 40. Any workout that requires me to lie down and close my eyes is alright with me. lol.

Connie, we are definately on the same track. That is why I love the end of Stretch 40. I love the back twisty things and the leg over one side. Whenever I do it, all I hear are cracks and loosening of muscles. Oh yeah!

LOL, Ck you crack me up. I SO know what you mean about sore abs and I also agree 100% to closing eyes and laying down is a HUGE plus. :) It's only a short time for me to forget my worries and all that around me. Stel I don't know if I ever did stretch X. I have to look into it. Maybe I did but don't remeber it's been a while since I did P90X. Keep pushing play and get so good sleep tonight. :)

I don't do yoga or stretch anything! lol I did the Stretch x and got 30 min into it. I am not doing an hour of stretching. Nope no way. I am a pretty tight person and no matter what I do it doesn't get any better. I did Yoga for 4 years and I got sick of it. I never could bend in half. Never could touch my feet when I sit on the floor and stretch. I am very, very inflexible. I do get looser but I never get to dancer like loose. Now my sister was born loose. She can do back bends etc. I used to do Yoga with her and it made me mad that she who hardly did anything physical could bend in half and me who did yoga 4 times a week could barely touch the floor. LOL

The core 10 is tough! It does hurt. Like I said on your wall CK it doesn't hurt me as much anymore to do anything. I did get sore though. I used to get just as sore as you though for 3 months. Now after almost a year of strength training and such I don't get sore often and when I do it goes away really fast. P90X made me sore the first month around but after that I just get a little Oh I feel that twinge. Everyone is different though. It may be different for you but make sure you are drinking a lot of water. That really helps with the soreness.

MFP wouldn't let me edit my last post so I have to make a new one. I did P90X Chest, Shoulders and Tricheps today. OH MY. I am going to feel it later today and tomorrow. Tough but fun workout. I really like P90X weight workouts. I don't like the cardio or yoga ones they are just too long. I don't enjoy cardio much except if its TF. Oh and I do like the Les Mills Combat but that's not really cardio it's more Martial Arts stuff.

Oh I went almost all the way to the floor in all of my push ups this time too!!! I am still doing knee ones. Next is trying to do half way push ups on my feet. I am getting stronger!!! YAYAY.

Hey guys! So I'm feeling well enough to do a bit of a workout today. I didn't do HIIT 25, so I just did Tone 30. I feel a bit better now. I may go walking if I still feel better this afternoon. I'm going to finish these last 2 weeks of Turbo Fire, so help me God!

I did fire 45 ez today too! I know right, it is hard! Every time I do a workout I find that I am improving. Kinda like Melzy. By the way Great Job Melzy. I did enjoy the weights part of p90x just not Tony lol, glad you like it and I am sure you will see improvements. oh and I am pretty sure LM IS cardio not just martial arts. At least that's what they say, anything that gets your heart rate up is cardio lol. :) Jeni, you are doing great sticking in there, just remeber this isn't a race. :) You'll get through to the end of turbo fire. Then onto a new program. Glad you are feeling better. I hope everyone have all their christmas to do lists done. I don't but I get there. Have a great night and push play! C U Tomro! :)

Did Fire 30 today. Felt so good! It feels like it has been a while since I have done TF and I looked at the calendar and well it's been 2 1/2 weeks. I was sick then I got LM Combat so I did that instead for week 4.

Jeni glad you are feeling better. Hey when you finish TF what are you going to do next?

Good job everyone on the workouts! Yall are doing awesome. I have gotten my Christmas shopping but I do it online in Nov. every year anyway. Oh no I have to finish the toe in my mom's socks. It's the last present. =) Yeah I don't go out shopping here around Nov the crazies come out and I don't much like pushing and shoving my way through a store. I actually don't like how many people are here. Only moved here because my hubby lives here. I would much rather be in a less crowded place. I lived in AL for 10 years before now. All I ever saw were my family. =D Well except when I went to town or to work. I worked at a little grocery store where everyone knew everyone else. It was nice. Now I know no one and the people I do know, well they aren't like me. lol <shrug> Ok done rambling. =)

I will be doing the Janelle summers hybrid of TF/CLX next. I can't wait. I have been working on my calendar (the one I post on my wall to cross off to see how far i have come) and I can't wait to hang it. :) Your are Rockin the workouts! :)

Hi all! I thought I posted a reply but I guess it either didn't take or I forgot to post the reply. lol. I weighed in at weight watchers and I gained .4 lbs, but hey, my progress isn't based on a number. Now that TOM is finally trying to pack up and leave, my energy is returning and now that the weigh in is over, I am quite excited about finishing Week 4 and moving on to a whole 4 weeks of cardio! We're talking major calorie-burning here! I'm also looking forward to going shopping for real snacks and foods. I want to keep it simple, but good. Suggestions are welcome!

I love your energy ladies! You all are just so great! Btw, Melzy your glasses are cute!

Tonight is my last scheduled HIIT for the year, I'm gonna rock it out! :)

LOL Thanks Vini and CK. I finally took a pic I like of myself. I am not photogenic. I always look like a deer in headlights in them. <shrug> Hey what is with the TOM. Mine started this week also. lol kind of funny. Hey I had roasted shrimp and broccoli for dinner tonight and OH MY it was yummy! I have never roast either and they tasted great that way. My belly is full! =)

I just did HIIT 25....I need to keep my eyes on Allie, cuz my ankles are achey. I do the jumps and I'm like I can do this, then I land slower than the class and my rhythm is off. I'm still slow but catching up.

Connie, are you taking a break from TF? What 4 weeks of cardio will you be doing? Last night I had the orange roughy fish with mango salsa in the TF book for dinner. I used frozen tilapia and put the fish on quinoa. It was yummy and my kids loved their "chicken" Dinner tonight is my protein shake since I need to hit Target again after the tire shop. Do you have a lot of snow by you yet?
