A couple of my friends rented 2 loft apartments are are hosting a party. Semi-formal, open bar, buffet, photobooth, etc. It should be fun.0

Being boring and staying home - never been the New Years Eve party type. I'd prefer to party when there are less drunks on the road. So, the boyfriend and I will plan a good meal to cook together and get a good bottle of wine and stay in and enjoy each others company.0

This is going to be the first New Year's Eve I spent with a guy in 4 years. I am looking forward to that. NCgirl, Angela aka Angie, is coming to visit and stay a couple days. We are going to hit the bars. Woo hoo!!! Ya'll remember her right? lol0

It is called amateurs night around here as there will be more police on the roads then non.
Since there is nothing to do short of driving almost an hour it is not worth it to me so will stay safe at home.0 -

Lucky my party is within walking distance of our light rail and can cab it from the light rail to my friends place to crash for the night.0 -
I'm heading down to Atlanta and going to the Chick fil a bowl! We are supposed to get hit with alot of snow tonight and tomorrow, and planning to drive down tomorrow, so hopefully the snow doesnt slow down our drive too much!0

I hear ya! Thankfully he doesn't drink so if we go anywhere he's the DD, but it wouldn't be more than 10-15 minutes away. Too many drunk drivers out there too, unfortunately.0 -

Well mine NYE is currently still up in the air. I don't know if my ex is taking the kids to his moms for the week or not if he doesn't I'm getting a 12 pack and reading my way into the new year.
If he does Its little black dress and heels of to my favorite bar time. They will be having free drinks, free food oh and people lol. Wanna guess which one I hope happens lol0 -
My brother's neighbour is having a party so heading over there on New Year's!! Going to pay my niece to drive me home since she will be cheaper than a cab, ha ha.0

I have two wild parties that day...
First will be at the Children's Museum to see the ball drop at noon with the kids.
Second will be a party with the bf at his friend's house later that night. That's the first time I'm meeting any of his friends, so I offered to be the DD.

wear a hot (but not too slutastic) dress, wear some heel, grab a clutch purse and go. party crashing can be fun, but you definitely have to go in with the attitude of "i don't know how i was left off the guest list because i bring the fun" and act accordingly when you're in the partay. also make sure to introduce yourself to the host. congrats you just made a new friend
my choices are 3 house parties and a DJ dance thing. i dont drive so i'll end up only doing 1 or 2. no date though so i'll probably base where i am at 11:59 pm on where's more likely to have a cute guy i want to snog :laugh: this will be my first time in a long time not celebrating in NYC and i definitely miss my peeps because i'm going to miss party hopping, dancing til the break of dawn and having the day end at 12 PM new year's day
