My neighbor introduced me to YOYO the other day. Your Only Young Once.
She says that's her excuse whenever she does anything stupid.

No one over a certain age really gets away with saying it without looking silly.
Yolo was originally attributed to Mae West but the concept of carpe diem has obviously been around a little longer!

I still wouldnt go round to this guy's house tho, that's a bit like jumping out a plane without a 'chute!

Quick story...my daughter recently found a pic of me from high school and I had orange hair. She quickly said..."and I thought Yolo was invented by my generation..."

You guys crack me up. I do agree with the whole idea of u only get one chance at life....but....not calling it YOLO just yet. ha ha ha.
He kinda did himself in shortly after I asked if u would meet him. He asked what I was looking for.... I gave my same ol companionship to share life with someone and his list included someone to hang with a few times a week and maybe a lil FWB. Which ya..I know thats an option but not to say it this early.
At least he was honest. Oh well I cant have my cake and eat it too. lol.0 -

I wouldn't go to someone's house, nor would I invite them to mine for a first date. After that, no problem.
I would and have met men the same night. I've been on the phone with guys and we've ended up meeting 15 minutes later just because we both figured out we had nothing else going on that night.0 -

I would NEVER go to someone's house I didn't know.
I won't even let a guy pick me up for a first date, unless he is a friend of a friend, then maybe.....

I would absolutely never invite someone over to my place for a first meeting. Even if the first meet up isn't a full fledged date, I still think he could make the effort to meet you somewhere public.
Now in this case, it sounds like you two were just chatting and he invited you to be part of his afternoon (beer and football) , which was probably innocent of him and with good intentions, but just not appropriate for meeting strangers.0
