Hey! So we're staring the shred after a day (according to my time)!! How's everyone feeling! I am feeling scared! I remember when I did it last time; I could not walk or bend down :noway: ! BUT don't get discouraged! The amount of inches lost is amazing and that's what’s keeping me motivated!

I am ready. I too am a little scared because of all the pain I was in last time around, but I am doing it with the thought that exercising going into 2013 will set the tone for the rest of the year.
Are you planning any rest days or are you doing it full throttle?0 -
I'm in the same boat, but as she says, that's your body changing. I'm more concerned about the fact that I'll be starting this challenge hungover from New Years eve. and then starting work again on day 2. I have been doing some cardio workouts lately to prepare myself though.0

Ill actually be starting tomorrow Monday the 31st.. I dont do anything special for the New Year celebration.. Also i work saturday and sunday so im only shredding Monday-Friday maybe only when i can saturdays.. sundays are my for sure rest day.0

I will have a rest day as well. It will most likely be Saturday. I will pick up light cardio for that day.0 -

That is so true!! I am not planning any rest days what about you?0 -
Not sure about the rest days. Any time I've given myself rest days in the past has resulted in me falling off completely. If i rest because I'm sore, I'll only be twice as sore the day after, and there the logic falls off. Maybe I'll rest once every ten days. That'll give me roughly a week off of working out before my holiday in March. (kind of) I still plan on hitting the ellpitical or stationary bike on off days.0

I will rest on Saturdays and do light cardio for that day. For everyone not resting, how do you work through the pain? I could barely walk after quitting the last time.0 -
I am so ready and I will not be doing a rest day. We can all make it through this together, rest or not.

That's the same as me! If I rest for a day I will quit because resting will be so much better than feeling the pain!0 -

I'm ready. I'm sure I'll do 1 rest day a week but no set day for it. I'll also be doing a zumba class on Wednesdays each week so that will be my break from Jillian but I'll still be exercising for an hour. I'm signed up for a zumba class every Wednesday after work with the ladies from work. The instructor comes right to my job and we turn the lunch room into a gym for 1 hour every week. We started about 4 weeks ago and it's been very fun! We're having a great time. Anyway, Jillian is back in my life starting tomorrow. I'm all set to begin 2013!! Enjoy your evening everyone and be safe!0
