More goals rather than resolution as such as I find ny resolution always fails.

*Get back on exercise regime and eating cleanly

*Sleep better - more than 3 hours per night!!

*Give up alcohol for at least 6 weeks after this weekend, and repeat intermittently during year.

*Drop from 26% body fat to 12%

    *Sort out my finances

*Sort out my head and stay off the meds

    *Complete tough mudder

*Feel good about myself and self confident

*Be a great friend and strong support for my family as it's going to be a tough year.

*Be able to run 15k without struggling.

*Get a job closer to home to help achieve all of the above.

That's all that spring to mind right now

I have decided to join a gym to help me maintain my goals! What are the rest of you doing??? I also am trying to empty out the cuberts without the boyfriend putting the stuff he likes in there back in HAHA
  • You guys are all awesome! I feel so inspired.

    1. Get back down to my lowest weight of 162 lbs!
    2. Exceed my lowest weight and get down to 140 lbs
    3. Buy my first home ... which will require saving an $8k down payment and maintaining perfect credit
    4. Visit the Beach more than last year .. I went 7 times last year!
    5. Run more 5ks than last year ... I ran 2 last year.
    6. Drink less alcohol
    7. Scratch off more of my Bucket List ... I already have an Ireland trip booked, but I also want to take my first Cruise and be in a Flash Mob!
    8. Re-establish a healthy relationship with my Dad.
    9. Stay in better contact with my Grandparents.
    10. Visit Falmouth, VA to meet a groundskeeper of a historic building which my ancestors built (My Grandpa has been begging me for years to do this!)

Great. Now it's here so I have a record of it!!
  • It's so motivating to see what everyone is planning for the upcoming year!

Here are a few of my New Year's Resolutions!
    1. Clean up my garage.
    2. Clean up one of my (hoarding) bedrooms.
    3. Get my handgun carry permit.
    4. Get my personal training certificate.
    5. Take at least three small vacations/get aways this year.
    7. Do at least three triathlons, one of them I would like to be olympic, but not sure I can make that one happen.
    8. EAT HEALTHY. More fresh vegetables! Less processed food!
***AND the one I am most excited about and can't wait to get started, mostly because I am a single mom who is busier than an ant and these are going to be big challenges for me:
    9. Every month, do one of the following, some of them can be done multiple times during the month:
    a) pay for the driver's food who is behind you in the drive thru, b) Donate to the local animal shelter, c) send a nice personalized card to someone thanking them for something, d) leave a big tip, e) make dinner for my neighbors and their kids, f) donate to the local food bank, g) donate to a local camp for underprivileged kids, h) do a woman's pamper party for hard working deserving friends, i) help kids get ready for school/backpacks/school supplies, etc. j) pay off or pay money towards someone's layaway at Christmas, k) give an anonymous gift card.

It's very funny to look over these 9 resolutions, people might think i'm nuts. Maybe I just think I'm nuts. ha!
    HAPPY 2013!!!
