    But hey, at least she's not wearing ear buds (or so it seems). Most females at the gym I go to wear them to be anti social.

    Everybody hates gym music. Unfortunately, the ear plugs are the universal sign that someone doesn't want to converse. They want to do their workout and bail.

    That is an out dated concept. If you see someone with ear buds, try and make eye contact and smile. If they smile and make eye contact back go ahead and talk to them if they look inviting. I barely ever see anyone at the gym without ear buds but most people are open to talk to others.

    ^^^ This. Everyone at my gym brings their ipod and it has nothing to do with being antisocial.

    Yeah, MM is right. Music just gets most people through their workout. Don't let it stop you from attempting to make eye contact and chat someone up if you get the chance.

    I e-mailed this cougar on Match a few months back.. no response.

    I join a new gym closer to my house and I see that same no response Match MILF at the gym every Saturday and Sunday morning. She's like clockwork first thing in the AM, right when I go.

    Weird thing is.. she stares at me while I'm deadlifting and squating (I catch her in the mirror). Doesn't really smile at me, just stares with these cold beady "shark eyes". :indifferent:

    Guaranteed I'll see her this Saturday so I'm going to strike up a convo. She doesn't look like much of a conversationalist.. might get awkward quickly.

    You're going about it all wrong.. Contact her on Match and totally freak her out by detailing her Saturday morning routine. . . That'll get her attention!
