Staying Away from the First Bite

As a person who has struggled with food addiction for most of my life, I am used to having dark days. In order for me to stay away from addictive eating, I need to allow my health to be my priority. In my life I have often let other things get in front of that and as a result, whatever I've put in front of that, I've lost.
No matter what, just for today, I am putting my recovery from food addiction first which means no matter how down I get or worried over other parts of my life that I think may not be working, I only have one purpose, and that's not to pick up the first addictive bite.

good for you, i recently started identifying as a food addict and am starting to cut out addictive foods one by one and replace them with healthier options. Im struggling with having to re-learn how to cook and having to come up with all new meal ideas.
