New to this group....

I am 14 weeks today. My husband and I went to a Mexican resort in October, and we came home with a few extra pounds and a lil' passenger. With my daughter, I gained 40 pounds and it took 2 years to get rid of it. In the 5 years since I've done this, I've done a marathon, triathlon and many races. I'm fitter and I vowed to eat right and exercise this time. At week 5, I was going for a run.

Then week 6 hit and so did the crippling morning (all day) sickness. Forget exercising. Forget eating. Still to this week, food and I are enemies. I eat small portions because I fill up. As soon as I am done, I feel ill. Most people at my point have gained 5-10 pounds. I've lost 9.

So I started tracking just to make sure I get the bare minimum. I'd be interested to see what others due July are doing and feeling.

I am due July 14th! I have gained 9 lbs so far, much to my dismay. WIth my daughter I gained 55 lbs and I really think alot of it has nothing to do with eating, at least for me. With my dd (who is 7) I ran up til I was 7 mos and continued to workout everyday and watch my intake and still gained.
With this pregnancy, I am working out at least 4 days per week, running and watching what I eat and still gaining. I am not stressing about it though...
I am a little nauseated at times, but it is getting better. Pretty much none of my regular clothes fit anymore. My tummy got big much quicker this time around. I am still tired all the time, but that is getting slightly better too. I also have to get up 3-5 times during the night to pee, which is annoying....
I am still running, but only on the treadmill. It seems like after 15 min or so I need to take a pee break. This happened during first pregnancy, but not until much later....
Good luck! Feel free to add me as friend!

Hello! Oddly enough, I fit in my clothes better at 14 weeks than I did at 5 weeks. I'm starting to feel a little better and hope to start doing the elliptical and going back to my trainer.
