So what do you do about hunger after he last meal of the day? I have been up way to early so my last meal of the day is 5 pm. the last few night am quite hungry before bed and have been grabbing a string cheese. I know it say in the book do not eat after the 5th meal. I was also wondering if your not supposed to eat if drinking some psyllium would do it?

I do the same, with my last meal being around 5:00 pm. I will usually have a small snack (if I haven't gone over my carbs/calories). A 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese with a tablespoon of salsa does wonders. If I want sweet, I'll do a half cup of low fat cottage cheese, 1 packet of Splenda and cinnamon (sounds gross, it's realllly good :) I also try to drink more water as well.

The thing is i keep going a bit over on calories. Maybe I shouldn't worry about it ? I'd have no problem if my last meal was at 7. unfortunately I don't sleep that late.

i dont think that sounds gross at all. I eat cinnamon on it all the time. i have never thought to sweeten it.

If I was struggling with having my last meal at 5pm, I would probably eat 6 smaller meals, rather than 5.

The other thing is, that veggies are "unlimited" on the plan. So, if you are still finding yourself hungry I would shoot for meal sizes over calorie count... and making sure that I get my 2 fist full minimum in for veggies. If I'm still hungry I'd bump it to 3.

Another thing you can do is slightly stretch how long it is between meals. Let's say you get up at 5 am, and you have your breakfast eaten by 5:45. Don't start eating your next meal until 8:45... and maybe stretch it until starting at 9. Then you finish eating meal 2 at 9:15... so you stretch meal three to start at 12:30. And so on and so forth.

The one thing I would try to avoid is eating less than 2 hours before bed if possible.

I did well last night but my 5pm meal was pretty big. I c of cooked zucchini, 1/2 c brown rice and turkey breast I was pretty full trying to eat it all but I did.. I also had a ripper headache and went to bed at 7. The stretching idea is a good one!

Mmmm! Your dinner sounds good! :) Sorry you had a headache too. I've been battling one all week. Sigh.

How odd we have both had a headache all week. Mine was dull except that day. Now I caught a darn cold, Blah! Last might was ok also not being hungry but I forced myself to eat all my salad. It was a big bowl!
