Let's motivate eachother :)

Hey all! Since we all know how PCOS is and makes us feel, we can relate to eachother! I'm thinking we should work together and make some challenges we'd like to work for. So any ideas, or anyone who'd like to be a weightloss buddy please let me know :) I need motivation and am great at giving motivation as well! :D

I keep hearing that weight lifting for women with PCOS is really good. I have been doing different things and it seems like cardio just doesn't work for me. I am going to try to add more weight lifting into my days though to see how that goes.

I need to start exercising more. I try to walk around at work to keep moving but most of the time I just stand there. When college starts back I plan on walking in between classes and maybe going to the gym on days off.. I am really excited to start losing weight!
  • I grabbed the wii from my mom's house and have mostly been alternating my days with wii fit (the yoga or strength training) and EA Active (the strength training parts). I can roam about 2-3 miles at work every day pushing a cart with a 20lb microscope on it. I've also heard cardio isn't all that good for a weight loss thing for us, so i've been focusing on the strength training. I refuse to spend money i don't have on weights or a gym membership when i can do stuff at home.

but i find i like to take off a few extra nights than i want to and it ends up turning into a 'oh yeah, i was doing that once wasn't i..." so i'm all for someone poking me in the face to keep moving.
