Hi ladies, well I guess I get to start the new week. I took my measurements and they weren't as good as I would have liked but I did cut my cals to much and didn't lose anything for two months. I have since learned my mistake and hope to lose more these next 12 weeks. So after 20 weeks they are 3lbs and 5" overall. I had hoped for better but I did lose something and that makes me feel better. Hope you have a great rest of the day and I will see you tomro. Keep pushing play. =)

Progress is still progress, Vini! Plus, I bet you're a lot stronger now than when you started! =) The diet is by FAR the hardest thing for me to figure out, so I know how you feel. First I ate too little, then I ate too much... now.... we'll see. I haven't gained or lost a lb in 4 weeks now, so I just did some adjusting too. How do you figure out your calories?

When I first joined MFP, I ate the suggested 1200 calories per day. Period... and I didn't eat back any of my calories. I was starving ALL the time.

Then I followed this post: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12
and ate my TDEE -20% and ate back my calories from exercise... then I found out that I wasn't supposed to be eating back those calories... ARGH! So now I'm aiming for my TDEE-20%, which is 1724 calories per day.

How many calories do the rest of you TF ladies aim for?

Week 14 for me starts tomorrow. I'll be SO glad to be done with that damned treadmill. My shins hurt!

Thanks Jeni, I went off your same post cause you posted it back in nov. I couldn't seem to get my number right so I PM helloitsdan..aka. writter of the post he ran my numbers and told me to eat 1800-2000 a day. Don't eat excerise cals back. When I asked him how he figured it out....was it according to his post? He simply said no that he went off the other things i had told him height, weight, activity level, and well that's the number I am using. However, I have checked other sights and I am right in line at 1800-1900 cals so that's where I am at. One site told me for me to lose weight I should be at 1500, but i tried that and was very hungry and didn't lose a lb. I think thats when i got so screwed up. *sigh* It's tough to know where you should be and how your body works. I am going to keep sticking it out but thinking about doing blood work. Hope your shines feel better soon. (one of the reasons I hate to run)

Good Morning, Ladies! This past week I am down 5lbs. I haven't taken any measurements, so perhaps I'll do that this evening. I have been sticking to my TurboFire workout and am beginning week 4 today. Fire 45 and stretch 10 tonight, and I'll probably run to the gym midday and do some light weights.

As for my calories, MFP had me at 1200, and I wasn't eating back my exercise calories. I went to the Dr. thinking something was wrong. She ran blood work and everything came back "Excellent". She said that based on my body calculations, I need to be eating 1400 calories per day. I asked her about eating back exercise calories. She said eat them back if you feel like it. Most likely some days you will want/need those calories, others you won't.

1400 seems to be my magic number and I sometimes tick into my exercise calories a few hundred or so. Let's see how this week goes!

Hello ladies! Today I started Week 14, but since the lady downstairs was home I did Core 20 and Stretch 40 instead of my scheduled Fire 60. I was kind of bummed, since I really wanted to get back into the Fire workouts. Hopefully she'll be gone tomorrow =P

Good morning, Ladies! I'm almost done with Week 7. My meds are working now...not coughing as much anymore. I'm doing so well that when I did 55EZ last night, I was way past the zone, my hrm kept beeping...and I wasn't even huffing and puffing. The steroids are clearing the gunk out of my lungs and I'm feeling much better. I do find myself hungrier for things I know I shouldn't be eating but as long as I'm burning calories....I'm okay. I haven't gained any weight. I've maintained all week. 3 more days left of the steroids. I can't wait!

I'm pressing play on Fire 45 today. I used to love that one cuz of the Boom I got your boyfriend song, but I have found my new love, 55EZ. Doing it twice a week during the 2nd month has grown on me. I will miss it during Recovery week next week. I also now love Fire 30. I love how quick it is. Jab Cross Hook Up...I finally got it!!

Take care ladies! I'm trying to keep warm. It's bitter cold here in Chicago! Single digit temps and wind chill below 0!

Hi ladies. I'm still in a bit of a fog with stuff at the moment and TOM has sapped away my energy even after 8 hours of sleep. I've been a bit of a mess, and I'm going to have to repeat week 5...again! But it's okay. This is temporary, I just lost focus for a bit.

Stel! Thanks for catching up with me! I appreciate the reminder to not lose focus. I'll be checking in again soon.

I worked out today, I say this cause it was work. So have I ever mentioned that I workout in a "studio" aka old shed fixed up into workout area. It does have heat however it only runs when its 40 degrees or warmer out. That being said my hubby and i figured out last night that there is no way for me to workout in the mornings till we get someway to heat it better. Its just way to cold in the winter. When I woke this morning it was 9 degress wind chill below zero somewhere. I desided to wait till it warmed up to a whole 13 degress. I learned two things today. 1) You can sweat in 13 degrees. 2) The only thing really burning was my lungs. ( I have a new respect for runners who do their runs outside) I was sore from yesturday and the cold wasn't all that good but I did my workout. Fire 55 ez. I really don't like that one. You know I really like TF and she is the only one for me to get my workout on too! PS. cause I am so tall and I can almost touch the ceiling with my head, not a good idea for me to workout in the house :) Keep pushing play ladies!!!!!

@24- 5lbs is awesome, a great start to on your weight journey. So glad you are enjoying TF :)

@Stel- Yikes I can so relate stay warm. Hopefully you can workout inside. :)

@CK- I am glad you are checking in. We are here for you. my thoughts are with you. :)

Ugh! I did not press play today so I will double up my workout tomorrow with Fire 45 in the a.m. and Core20/Stretch 40 after lunch. Heading out tomorrow night again with a friend. I know we're going to Wildfire for appetizers and a martini flight. So, I will work extra hard for my calories tomorrow....knowing that i'll be drinking most of it.

I have my heat set at 71 and all I wanna do is stay under my comforters and snack on junk all day.

I need to get out of this funk.

Preshusgem- Hope you're staying warm in Chi Town this week. I used to live in NW Indiana, and I remember how bitterly cold Chicago could be. I think I've been colder in Chicago than I have been in my entire life... and I'm from Canada! =P

CK- I restarted one of the weeks 3 times in a row, too, so don't feel bad =) The most important thing is to keep at it. Good job keeping yourself accountable!

Vini- Good God woman, you're a beast! I can't do ANYTHING in 13 degrees, let alone attempt Turbo Fire!!!

Today I FINALLY get to do Fire 60, since the lady downstairs is gone. Yesterday was my "off" day.

Hi Girls Sorry I was away for a few days. I have been working out and logging them. I just have been busy.

Today I did Hardcore Abs and Flex from LM Pump. I've stopped recording my meals because I know how much I eat and I was starting to get obsessed. I have OCD and I tend to get obsessive. I am just eating good food 90% of the time. I also had an eating disorder when I was a teen. I have a very unhealthy view of food and I just think this is the way to go. I don't want to think about food anymore. I am just using MFP for the exercise logging and the forums.

That being said I am on my 4th week of LM Pump next week! crazy! Keep up the good work everyone! =)

    Hello all!
Pressing play late tonight. Week 8 is finally here! Yay! Recovery week. I'll be doing 45 EZ which I have not done since Week 3, so it won't be "fired up" this time around.

    Have a good night everyone!

Hey ladies! I did Fire 30 and Upper 20 today, so I'm still on track for the week. We're about to get hit by winter storm Khan, which I think is hilarious. Hopefully it won't be too bad so the lady downstairs won't be home for the next two days and throw me off schedule again. All I have left to do for the week is Abs 10, Fire 60 and Fire 55EZ so if she sticks around, I'm going to have to hit our apartment complex's gym instead. I swear, the next time we have to move, I am moving into a bottom-floor apartment!!!
