Cheesecake Challenge - Week Three

GOTCHA!!! HAHAHA!!!! No, this is not one of those challenges to see who can eat the most slices of cheesecake!!! lol This weeks challenge is called "How soon can you lose a slice of cheesecake"!! According to MFP a homemade slice of cheesecake has 221 calories -- I am challenging you all this week to lose one slice of cheesecake or a couple slices of cheesecake!!! Please keep track of how many calories you are losing -- then at the end of the week (next Sunday or Monday) you are going to divide that calorie amount by 221, and then let us all know how many slices of cheesecake did you lose!!! Please make those post under this discussion post, so we are not creating new threads! We can do it!!!

  • I'm pretty sure the slice I had at the cheesecake factory at lunch today was more than that. So I plan to burn off at least 3 or 4 of your slices at the gym tonight :)

    I just danced (Zumba) for 1/2 hour so I know I burned off a slice. (actually I am not all that keen on cheesecake, but for the same calories I can pretend I burned off a whole box of jr mints) :D

    Ohhh darnit, I was hoping this was a fun recipe challenge, to make a lower cal cheesecake and eat it! (j/k)

    Tue: cals burned: 290 + 408 = 698 / 221 = 3.16 slices of cheesecake!

    (edit) Had to change the #s as FitBit synced and changed my workout cals :(.

    I HATE cheesecake! But I'll try this anyway. It's a bit of a challenge though because I do mostly strength training and HRMs are not accurate for that. However I will make some estimates based on a website I found:

    Tuesday - 248 calories
    Wednesday - 248 calories

    Total: 2 slices of cheesecake

    Well I was sick a couple of days, but saved 8 slices of cheesecake roughly this past week..Pretty awesome!
