My name is Jill and I'm 47 years old, no kids. I work from home and my husband travels a lot. I'm in the same boat with you all and nice to find a group here. I want to cut out alcohol during the week. I don't need the calories and I know it isn't healthy for my body. Like many of you, I eat well and exercise but these 10 pounds I need to lose, it is ALL from alcohol. I'm trying to switch my activities/schedule around so I am at the gym or exercising during the time I'd normally be wanting a toddy. I'll have to post here later and see if that works or not. I also think tracking the drinks along with my food here on this site will be a good reality check. Good luck everyone

Thanks Mary Anne, good luck to you too. Yeah, 10 pounds may not sound like a lot, I realize - ha. I'm on this borderline of either giving in and continuing to gain or I have to NIP IT and get back to my preferred weight. I've gotten really lazy over the winter. We live in the UK and these gray, short winter days kill me. Looking SO forward to spring!0
