Not sure if these are 'vegan friendly,' but was just wondering if anyone has come across these in a supermarket and if so which one(s)? I've found them online but would prefer not to get them that way.

I strongly suggest these ones, I assumed that was what you were referring to. I like the tofurky ones the best, especially the peppered flavor. Plus it is mostly organic , vegan and GMO free.0 -

Actually, the ones I am referring to I had in a restaurant and weren't yves. They weren't steak stip like, they were wider, flatter, but were still meant to be beef like.0

Some Morningstar Farms products are vegan, but many (most?) have eggs. Read those ingredient lists!
I believe all Gardein products are vegan. I know Target and Whole Foods carry Gardein. They offer a pretty good variety of beef and chicken replacements.0 -
