Clothes Shopping!

I hate shopping in any form, but today, as I am out for a birthday meal tonight I realized that going in leggings or jeans was not an option. So for the first time in forever, up until now due to the weight loss I have been sticking to my clothes which are too big, I went out. I headed for the plus size clothes, kind of automatic and all of them were too big. The smallest they go down to is an 18.

Going to the other clothes was a weird sensation for me, I have always had to go for exclusive plus size range. I hated looking at clothes before and then realizing they don't go beyond 18.

So I got a pair of trousers and a shirt, size 16 UK.

They fit and with room to spare!

I nearly cried in the changing room, I really doubted they would fit or that I would look like an elephant. It's such an amazing break through for me.

Absolutely love this post! I'm a UK size 16 at the moment, too, and it is so liberating to even be able to look around at "normal" clothes.

    Fantastic! :D

I'm in the same boat. Currently at 22 US (though I was a 24, took 30 lbs to have to switch sizes). I can't wait till I can shop in any store I please!! I will be so broke when that day comes lol Congrats on the change over!!
