It's far too quiet in here this morning.... what did everyone do this weekend?

Friday was the start of mine and I switched Ortho Surgeons. Very glad I did... I meet the new one tomorrow and am crossing my fingers that it's a better fit. Had lunch with a girlfriend and dinner/games with the kids Friday night.

Saturday was a day cleaning and more games with the kids. My date cancelled because the wrestling tourney went too late. I'm thinking this will fizzle out soon, but we've only gone out a couple times, so no loss.

Yesterday I had fun at a Superbowl party.

So, what about everyone else?

Nothing of any interest. Looked after old lady (93) Friday night, taught Sat. morning, took old lady for lunch, practised, spoke to my mother, unpacked from Dublin, went to friend's for girl's night in on Saturday, was photographed in a million different poses on Sunday, which took most of the day, practised, looked after old lady, cooked. All necessary in one way or another, and all without any romantic potential at all. No wonder I'm eternally single. :grumble:

Friday night stayed home, Saturday surprised my mom by taking her to casino and then to lunch, ran some errands and then did cooking/baking for SuperBowl party. Sunday I cleaned house like crazy (having boy over for dinner Tues night), and then went to SuperBowl party, which was actually much more fun than I thought it would be .

Friday night I had a skype date with my friend and we chatted until wayyyy late! Saturday I got to sleep in for a bit before Rufio woke me up. Then I did some knitting before we went to Puppy class and volunteering... might be moving soon if all works out. Got home pretty late from volunteering and did some more knitting. My roommate went out with my friend, then when he got home at 1am he drunkenly crawled into my bed cause he wanted to chat about stuff. I talked with him for about an hour before I kicked him out.

Sunday woke up early for volunteering, then did some girl stuff with my friend until about 3... did some grocery shopping and errands before I got home... took Rufio to the dog park and chatted with my friends there. Finally got home and had a skype date with my sister before finally hitting the sack.

All fun and busy but no flirting for me! I gots **** to do yo!

I pretty much ate too much and drank too much beer - so I had a great weekend! LOL

The BF, 2 of his friends and I went to an Alefest - there's 50+ tables with different craft beer vendors, you get 20 different tastes of your choice. Then we went to get BBQ. The BF drank 1 too many beers and passed out when we got home. Sunday was spend cleaning and making food for a Super Bowl party we held - everyone left a 1/2 time, but it was a good party (everyone got along, ate and drank and nothing got ruined!).

Making an effort this week to eat less and make better food choices.

Friday I met up with a friend who was visiting from out of town and she talked about her divorce the minute she saw me until the minute we parted ways. In between I scarfed down sushi and two alcoholic beverages. It was difficult to listen to, but then afterwards I went and saw this guy who I have a thing for. Saturday I did my workout, did laundry, and then was lazy the rest of the day. Later on I ended up going to dinner and a movie with my friend. We saw Gangster Squad and I thought it was really good. Sunday I slept in so late feeling like my body was fighting something off. I ended up watching the Super Bowl by myself and texting back and forth with some friends about the game. Then I went grocery shopping. Man, how boring am I. lol.

Well Friday I was off from work, and took my sick dog to the vet. Thankfully he is ok.

Saturday - ran errands all day

Sunday- stepped out of my box and went to a sports bar by myself. I live in 49er territory, and well I will cheer anyone BUT them. So I was in a bar full of niner fans as I was cheering for the Ravens. Saw a totaly bald headed hottie. I am guessing we were flirting, but I guess I am just "man stupid" . He kept trying to "instigate" stuff with me everytime the Niners had the ball, and was promising I would be on the bandwagon by the end of the night. (did not happen). He was there with his friend and his friends wife, when at one point the friend asked if I was married. I politely told him no I am not, and he informed me his friend is not either. (Subtle I must say) He asked why I was single, and I just said, I don't think men get me. The friend then informed me thats funny because women do not get his friend either.

I did make a bet with the bald hottie - that if the Ravens win, he has to dance on the bar and sing Single Ladies. Of which he did do! At the end of the night, I went and shook his hand and said nice game, and I enjoyed getting to partake in the festivities with them. He shook my hand, and proceeded to keep holding it. (I chalked it up to him being drunk). Did not get his number or give him mine (wasn't sure if he was interested or not), but knows what town he lives in and that his friends live in the same town as the bar we were at.

A very nice couple bought me a drink - huge ol Orange Creamcicle made with whipped vodka. OMG heavenly!

All in all I had a FABULOUS weekend. This taught me I for sure need to step out of my box more often!!

Well, Friday even I travelled to Sheffield for a meeting (I am the GM of an American Football team here in the UK and it was the preseason meeting). Saturday - I went to the meeting and then for some retail therapy (bought jeans, jumper, perfume and other bits and bobs). Then Sunday I was due to go to a university American Football match but was tired from travelling so stayed home. My friend popped over - he is all loved up as he met someone on match.com so he told me all about it for many many hours! :)

Friday - Did laundry, cleaned house and baked.

Saturday - got my hair done, went shopping and then spent the night at the bf's place. We started a 2000 piece puzzle, drank 2 bottles wine and had pizza.

Sunday - woke up about 12 am, then went to the pancake house for breakfast, went home and then just relaxed.

Nothing much here really. Saturday, the kid had gymnastics in the morning and after that we just hung out around the house. Sunday night we out for breakfast, did some grocery shopping then went to a friends house for the first half of the super bowl. Good times.

Friday I went out dancing with my older hippie lady friends. They're not really friends...I just know them from jumping onto the dance floor and moving like a jelly fish. Danced the night away, met more older ladies.

Saturday stayed home with my boys, we went out to park, played some frisbee and ran around the track. Stayed in and watched some fighting movies. I did some grocery shopping at supermarket where a mid fifty's, black, short, heavy-set woman approached me and asked if I was available.

Sunday spent the morning being lazy and reading, went out to super bowl party and drank four beers....hadn't drank any form of alcohol all month. Wish I would have stayed away from it.

Friday: Worked and then after work, in the morning, I jogged a bit on the nature trails where I live. A raccoon was cheering me on.

Saturday: Worked, got off and hit the gym. Did my weigh in for my weight loss thing. In a team with 3 other girls and we all did well. I lost 2 lbs, they lost 2-6, I think. Our team is in 4th place overall. Talked a bit about my weight loss. Next week is food log and take a new fitness class. Planning on doing kickboxing. Looks fun.

Sunday: Work, jogged 2 miles, Costco. Fun times with the crazy crowds trying to get in and out before the Super Bowl game. Didn't watch or care since I worked last night. I was asleep around 3pm.

Friday I enjoyed happy hour and great conversation with a dear friend of mine. He and I have the best chats!

Saturday did lunch and a little shopping with a girlfriend of mine who I haven't seen in awhile. Bought more than I went in for and splurged on something very pretty and very female. I just couldn't resist!! ;)

Sunday was quiet. Did some writing, did some reading, walked the hound dog and watched the game. Had a couple of invites to watch the game elsewhere, but didn't feel like drinking or eating crappy food and was enjoying my quiet day. So I stayed in.

Friday: Got off work and went to the gym. Home, shower, happy hr. Didn’t do bad. No food and two 20oz beers. Talk smack with the usual peeps.

Saturday: Laundry, shopping for Superbowl party, prepared taxes. (nice fat refund) Gym for 30min.

Sunday: Clean house. Superbowl at my house. I had more drinks and food than anticipated, but could have been worse. Kicked everyone out by 11:00pm dreading that I do my weigh in on Monday.

On Friday just stayed home and watched the hockey then a movie afterwards.

Saturday did a lot of cleaning around my condo as I need to make room for my boyfriend who is moving in with me. Took a lot to get recycled. Put together my kitchen table and chairs. Then we went out for dinner and to a movie, we saw Hansel and Gretal, which was really good!! Then came home and played some crib.

Sunday was a relaxing day, just did some laundry and went to visit my mom.

    Not an overly exciting weekend.
