I just got back from vacationing in Florida.
While there, my friends and I watched "sick, fat and nearly dead" and "vegucated".
Inspired by the films my friends and I decided to do a 4 day juice fast for the remaining of our vacation.
The guys only lasted through breakfast of day 1. *laughs* so, I was on my own. I lasted for 2 full days. Impressive, for me, considering the constant seafood taunting and lack of support from the fellas.

I think with support/tips of those juicing or interested would improve my success.
Went to costco and stocked up on fruits and vegetables.
I'm going to start my juice fast today.

Inspired by the same documentary I coincidentally started the same today. My initial plan is 3-5 days but we will see. Good luck to you. The benefits seem worth the effort to me.............So far so good!

Awesome! good luck on your juicing journey! I too was inspired by Joe's movie. I have not fasted on juice alone, but I use juicing as a supplement to my meals which ultimately makes me eat less because the juice alone gets me full. I am going to start juicing again, I just stocked up on my veggies to make my favorite drink of all "Mean Green" yup who knew I would love to drink Kale! :)

    im on Day 3.
    so far so good.
thing i struggle with, as always, is water intake.
i noticed on the reboot with joe link, they recommend drinking hot water with lemon & ginger in the morning and at night. i started this last night. i think its going to be a great way for me to sneak in at least 24oz of water. both yesterday and today i was able to meet my 64oz goal and perhaps exceed it a little. *pats self on the back*

on another positive note, i stepped on the scale this morning and it said i am down 8.5lbs since the start of my juice fast. my regular weigh-in days are mondays, so im going to try and avoid the scale until then.

this morning i had pear, cucumber, celery, kale, lemon and ginger.
