Which race do you all prefer? This will be my second ever 5k

Valentine's Day TC 5K:
$33 by 2/5/13 or $39 on race day
Free technical running shirt
Minneapolis

Sweetheart Runs 5K
also has a 10K, 10 miles and kids run option
$30 by 2/8/13 or $40 on race day
Chip timing
Mahtomedi

Hearts 'r' Running 5k
Also has a 1.5 mile option
$27 by 2/4/13 or $40 race day
free t shirt (looks cotton)
Saint Paul

Of the above I am leaning towards the Minneapolis race primarily due to location. However I love the chip timing option offered only in Mahtomedi. I don't really care much about the shirts, but think a technical running shirt (Minneapolis race) is infinitely better than a cotton t shirt (Saint Paul).

    Okay so as of now I am planning on the Minneapolis race. I hope to see some of you there!

    As a reminder, today is the last day before prices increase for the Valentine's Day TC 5K!

    According to weather reports, it should be relatively warm on Saturday!

    I wanted to do the Mpls but I'm out of town. In theory, I want to do the Irish for a Day 5K next month but the tech shirts are UGLY! What to do, what to do...

    The Get in Gear at the end of April can be great, if weather cooperates.
