What do you do now for your workout? It would help others to know where you're at now so they can tailor suggestions to be helpful for you.

I won't be much help since I don't do much more than cardio. But if I feel like my body isn't responding anymore, I add more disntace or change my speed/intensity.

I go to planet fitness and i start by stretching
    100 sit ups
all the ab machines two reps of ten or fifteen on each machine
I work my legs and arms 2 sets of 10 on all the machines
    I work on my gluts
ten to twenty mins on the elliptical treadmill and bike

    Stretch,
    do the cardiio,
do intervals, 3 of them, 12-15 reps on each machine you do now (you may increase weights) without rest at the end of each interval one minute break,
and the cardio again at the end
    with closer on stretch.

I recently found a new routine that keeps things interesting and that I have been doing regularly.

It uses a deck of cards and each suit is a different exercise. For example, we have hearts work on the butt/legs, diamonds are to get our heart rate up, like jumping jacks or mountain climbers, clubs will work the arms and spades are abs. One deck normally takes about 30 mins and will burn about 200-275 calories. And you can change up the exercises so it won't get boring or so you can target certain areas. So now when I go to the gym, I only work on cardio - mostly running or zumba.

But for me, changing it up to keep it interesting it key. If I just do weights on the machines, I get bored and so I'm less likely to keep doing it.

Not sure if this is helpful, but it has worked for me!
