Week End Challenge # 6 - Burn 1000 calories plus..

Hey people, hope you guys are having a good start of the weekend:happy: The challenge this weekend is to burn 1000 calories. The calories you will burn should include either one of these exercises i.e. 50 calf raises or 50 squats or 50 sit ups:bigsmile: The point is those of us who are only burning the cals with simple walking should try to include exercises in your routines. These are all old fashioned classic exercises and are very effective. It will be interesting to see who will do the most repititions:) We are not responsible for the soreness that will occur afterwards:devil:

So guys take up the challenge and burn atleast 1000 calories along with one of the above exercises. Come on push yourself and dont be lazy over the weekend!

    Im in:) I'm joined insanity challenge so i have plenty of squats to do (I will try to count them) and I will add sit ups.

    Last weekend I didn't meet the goal but I'm more than determined this week. First thing I did when I got up this morning was a quick workout. I will workout again in the evening. This will not be a lazy weekend:tongue:

    Sadly I'm not taking part this weekend as I had some minor surgery on Friday and I can't bathe/shower due to bandages so I don't want to get all hot and sweaty. Lame excuse i know lol!

    Weekend challenge done!!
    Sat - 546 cals
    Sun - 500 cals
    Total - 1046 !
    Mostly walks/very slow jogs, plus 3 minutes of sit ups and 2 minutes of squats!!
  • Friday.....100 calories walking
    Saturday....240 calories walking

    Nearly 200 cals on saturday and will burn the remaining today. I am hoping to do 50 sit ups and 50 calf raises.

    - 9 miles on foot,
    - then insanity workout for half an hour
    - and after that 2 hours of crazy salsa dancing
    total burn 1963kcal
    Today is less ambitious - 40 minutes of insanity and 50 sit ups an maybe some salsa in the evening
    so up till now 2318 calorie burned:)

    Done the challenge fully! Burnt 1086 calories this weekend. I have also done 70 sit ups and 60 calf raises:bigsmile: It felt great.

    Come on guys burn those calories and also do one of the challenge exercise.

    Completed the challenge! This weekend I burnt 1614 calories and I did 100 squats. I can feel the soreness coming on, but I'm glad I did them :wink: .

    338 (218 walking, 120 WiiFit)
    821 (174 pushups, 136 shoveling, 60 yoga, 451 walking)

    1159 done...our Y closed due to the blizzard, so I didn't get my big burn in today

    Total - 1030!!

    Which included:
    190 squats
    95 sit ups
    95 oblique crunches

    Great effort! Although only one exercise was needed for the challenge. I also did situps and calf raises. I will try to do all 3 next weekend!

    only burned 681 this weekend but I am proud I got some burn in!!!!
