That is awesome. It's such a wonderful feeling to provide that body and soul nourishment to your little girl. And nursing a one-year-old is so much fun!0

Awesome!! My son will be 10 months old in a couple days and we are still goin' strong. I know I am gonna miss it when he weans though. It's such great bondin' time!0

That's awesome news -- congratulations. My duaghter nursed until just after her third birthday although she had been down to 1 or 2 times a day for quite awhile before that. Now I worry when she is sick because I can't give her antibodies and make sure she gets some nutrition. LOL0

me too!!! I swear right after she stopped nursing, she got sick!!!
Not to mention she doesn't eat alot of food, before I didn't worry, now I do lol0 -
Great job! It is a wonderful thing to be able to snuggle up your baby and feed them. Congratulations!0

Thanks yall!! We are still going strong, we both love the bonding and it's just a special mommy/baby moment!!0

Yay! Congratulations! That's so awesome.
I stopped pumping at 11 months but continued to nurse my daughter until 17 1/2 months (until I weaned her after being away for two weeks).
I'm hoping to nurse my son till he's at least 2 years old (if not longer).0 -
Thanks for the support you all!! I appreciate it!0

That's awesome! My goal is to just keep going!! LOL. I would love to make it to a year....or at least until she decides "no more" lol. I currently still have to pump as I am away from her at work, but any time we are together it's strictly breastfeeding, mommy/baby bonding time. We love it!!0 -
We can now join the group! The babies had their birthday yesterday and are still going strong. Happy to have made it to a year. I couldn't nurse them for about a week when they were 2 weeks old because of how sick I was due to complications from Baby B's C-section. However, I was able to rebuild supply and keep going from there. It wasn't always easy, but I am glad that I had that experience with them. I am hoping to go further with them, but we will take it as it comes from here on out.0

This a great post. I am proud of any Mommy who even tries to breast feed. There are many challenges in life and its near the top IMO.
I am at once a day, at nap time, with my 28 month old DD. I will be very sad when it comes to an end as she will be my only.0 -
Way to go!!!!!!0

Awesome mama and definitely something to be proud of!0

So awesome and slightly jealous. My pcos didn't allow me to breast feed my little man never take it for granted I would give anything to nurse him.0

Yay! We're at the 8th month mark over here and she's starting to bite me! I'm trying to hold out as long as possible. There's no better nutrition and I am not ready to give you the extra calorie burn.0
