Does anyone know about how many calories are burned doing 30 minutes of Zumba?

    I burn between 600-700 calories in 50 minutes

    I agree. I usually ge about 700 for 50 minutes.

    Depending on a few factors I burn anywhere from 500-800 per hour.

    I'm so late responding to the OP but I burn anywhere from 500-900 per hour with Zumba. It really depends on the intensity and time.

    Can someone recommend a good DVD for purchase? I travel weekly for work and it is a little hard to get a gym when you are only home on the weekend. Thanks in advance.

    Calories burned will vary by person. I have a heart rate monitor which tells me the calories burned. I burn anywhere from 300 - 340 an hour depending on my intensity with Zumba!
