Hi all
I am new here and I actually the first group I've joined on MFP. I am also new to Leslie Sansone. It was recommended by several on MFP due to the fact I have bad knees. I bought my first Leslie Sansone - Just Walk. I have done it twice, the 2 mile workout. I felt it was a good workout. I just need the encouragement to stick with this. I am hoping the group will help me.

Welcome and congratulations on your loss! That is fantastic!

You'll find a bunch of enthusiastic walkers here. And some great support.

There is a challenge each month - it's strictly go at your own level. You decide how many miles you want to walk for the month and post your progress when you get a chance. No pressure on either. It's fun to see what everyone's doing, workout wise. And we all try to encourage each other, no flames in this group. And you don't have to wait till March if you want to start now.

So hope you will like it and continue to post and walk, walk, walk!

Oh, and we're trying to get MFP to add a tennis shoe emoticon for us!

    Welcome to the group.

I don't think you will need a lot of motivation to stick with Walk at Home. I've tried many different workouts and WAH is the one I've stuck with the longest -- over 4 years. I've found combining WAH with a sensible diet is a very effective weight loss/control program.

If you need additional support, please feel free to add me as a friend.

Thanks! As I decided to start this, I ended up sick at the same time. I'm trying to stay focused on my eating but find that's hard too when I feel bad. Seems I go to the comfort foods and what is easiest to grab. Still tracking everything I eat no matter what I eat to help me stay focused.
