Intermittent fasting

Hi has anybody tried or thinking of trying an Intermittent fasting diet ? Am thinking of eating my full calories in my case 1610 cals a day for 5 days then going down to 600 cals for 2 days . There seems to be a lot of testing of this idea.

It's very good. I fast once a week for spiritual reasons but I'm also benefitting healthwise - so body and soul0 -
A firend of mine is doing it and is losing about half the weight I am. Issue he has is at work on fasting days he gets really sleepy.0

There is a group on here called 5:2 Fasting which gives you lots of info. A lot of people are losing weight by this method. I've lost 10lb since beg Jan this year on the 5:2 method, which is a lot for me.
The fast days get easier and you don't tend to over eat on the normal eat days. It is so easy to do and the health benefits are good too.
Try it for a couple of weeks, I'm sure that you will want to continue! Good Luck!0 -

I do IF 16:8 and I've had some excellent success. I'm tweaking off it slightly now but it got me where I am so can only endorse it.0
