Hi, everyone. I have not ridden i over a year. My doctor has told me that I have Calcium in my body. Well, I get my Parathyroid taken out soon. That should cure that problem, but I developed bone pain over the last three month. I told her about this and she said that it may not go away after surgery. She even thinks it may be Arthritis. So my question is.......

Can a person still ride with arthritis? Or has anybody had Parathyroid surgery before? Did your body aches go away?

Hi there, I am just returning to the forum today (thanks to EasyKeeper8!) after not logging in for weeks.

I don't have arthritis (yet) but have you tried those human supplements that are similar to what we give horses, with Glucosamine, MSM, Chondroitin sulfate, HA etc? They make such a big difference in horses. I onky gave my mare Adequan once but boy, I saw the difference right away.

My father has very bad knees and he tells me that the HA injections he gets do him a lot of good.

    Just a thought...

I hope you feel better soon!
