how long do you rest between sets?

Ive been taking a minute or two between, how about you??

    This is a very late reply, but I'm curious about this too. I'm in week 5 and I'm taking at least 2 minutes, and sometimes 3 or 4, in between sets, because the weight is getting HEAVY. But my workouts are also getting LONG because of this. I keep reading that folks are doing these workouts in 40 minutes, while mine are more like 60 to 70. I'm jealous, but I feel like I need the rest.

    I just started needing more than a minute this past week. I think it's natural to need more rest the heavier things get.

    Heavy = 2 minute rest for me.

    5 mins is the longest rest I have had to take when I was lifting heavy heavy. Now it is a minute or two...

    I usually wait until at least 1 minute has passed, or else my next set will suck.

    For exercises that are hard for me,, I'll just wait until I feel recuperated which usually amounts to 1min 30sec.
