I've been on Phentermine (15mg) for a little over 3 months. When my doctor first gave it to me he gave me the ok to try up to 30mg a day and see what worked best for me. The first 2 months 15 MG worked great and I lost a good amount of weight. For the past 4 weeks it felt like the phen wasn't doing anything for me, no real appetite suppression and my weight loss stalled, so I decided to try up to 30 mg. I felt very jittery all day and have not been able to sleep at all this evening (its 3am now, I took my dose at 6:30am the previous morning)
Do I try to stick it out for a few days and see if my body can get used to this new dose? I've lost almost 30 lbs with phen but I have over 70 lbs to go to get to my goal weight of 150 lbs. I know I can't take phen for the entire weight loss process but I was hoping to get to at least Onederland on it.

Your body will get used to the higher dosage. How much caffeine do you drink during the day?? Limit your caffeine especially during the afternoons and evenings. Add me if you would like. I've been on phen on and off for a number of years. I dont think there is a side effect i havent experienced.0

Try taking melatonin (1mg) an hour before bedtime. I've been doing it for a month and it is amazingly effective.0
