Color Run Houston

A friend sent me a link to The Color Run taking place in Houston in March. It looks like a lot of fun and I'm psyched to do it. Want to share in case anyone is up to joining.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Color Run™ event is a one of a kind experience that is less about speed and more about enjoying a color crazy day with your friends and family. For our events, it is about participants of all different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes toeing the start line. Whether you are a casual morning mall walker or an Olympic athlete, the 3 miles of The Color Run™ course will be the most enjoyable real estate you’ve traveled in a VERY long time. (If you have more questions about how it all works, check out our “ABOUT” page at http://thecolorrun.com/houston/ for more info.)
I created a team with the help of my friend, who came up with the name Rainbow_Brite, she thought it would be fun to wear socks or leggings like Rainbow Brite herself to match our name, this is after all THE COLOR RUN. If you'd like to sign up you can join our team by searching for us and joining the Rainbow_Brite team that has (Hernandez) in parentheses. You can create your own team or sign up as an individual as well.
This run, although a 5K, is not a marathon where anyone is expected to run.

You are more than welcome to ask your friends, family, significant other, and coworkers to join…the more the merrier, right? Just forward the info to them or register for them. Children are welcome too and free if under the age of 6.
Is there an age limit for younger runners?
No age limits:) If they can cover (running, jogging, walking, strolling) the 3 miles of The Color Run™ course, they can absolutely do The Color Run™ 5k! Remember though, as soon as they turn 6 they will need to register and have a race bib!

Awesome you guys! I forgot I posted this and booo I missed that color vibe, I had no idea that was going on too. I got a bunch of my friends to sign up for this color run... I hope I'm not in over my head here.. I do a lot of cardio but NO running. I was planning to walk and maybe job (a little), but mostly just have fun. I'm excited, about 4 weeks away0
