Weekend Warriors!

How is everybody's week going? The weekend is almost here. Have you made a game plan for staying on track?
I know a lot of ladies comment on how the work week is always "easy" - but when the weekend comes, they get off track. What are you tips and suggestions for each other that help you stay on track?

  • I personally have to get up and do some form of exercise - it helps put me in the mindset that I WILL "stay on track" for the day! This helps me make better eating decisions throughout day. -- but always remember, one dent doesn't ruin the car. . I used to be very guilty of the, "I'll start again on Monday." but I have learned if you "slip up" on one meal, it doesn't mean your whole day is ruined. Just get right back on track the next meal opportunity!
  • Post your goals AND accomplishments around your house (not just the kitchen) to help remind you to stay on track. And it IS ok to treat yourself in moderation! If you completely cut out all your favorites you may have more frequent "cheat days" as those cravings will overwhelm you. I personally fit in two Dove Dark Chocolates DAILY (70 calories) and feel very satisfied because I am not totally depriving myself of a favorite food item while still staying on track!
